KEEP SLINGING THEM DISCS!!!
#DiscGolf #CourseVlog #BrodieSmith
Next practice round I think we should do a giveaway. Like this video if you agree.
Can you give away some talent because that's all I really need right now. Thanks.
Should giveaway an autograph to me tomorrow 😀
@@mynesbitmix yea, ill take one saturday too lol. I have a nice pink JB Roach that needs a signature
Change of plans.. ill be there Sunday and ready to see brodie on the lead card!! Win this one for nashville @Brodie Smith
Brodie and Ezra your videos are fun to watch, easy going and we all love the collaboration, keep it up!
Appreciate it!
I enjoy seeing the true "practice" element of your practice rounds. Trying new stuff and troubleshooting. Other channel practice rounds are more of course tours. Keep up the great content and good luck this weekend.
Yes! I love hearing them talk out options and then seeing them throw those different options.
Just different hyzers. Done different ways
I feel like you guys work very well together and have similar skill sets. Hopefully it'll all come together and we can see both of you on lead cards!!
I love these videos I love watching you and ezra play together
Hopefully we can figure it out in a tournament and play on some lead cards together.
@@BrodieSmith yeah id loveee to watch that on DGN
Glad you picked ezra up in the videos fun to watch needs more hype for sure
Ezra is a solid dude. I always try to film with people I enjoy to be around. I'm a terrible actor haha
It’s been great to see you grow from your start in disc golf! Been keeping up with your 2022 tournament playing and placements. Keep up the good work Brodie!
Discs hitting chains is music to my ears. Music City Open 2022 lol
I’m looking forward to more urban discgolf content with movable baskets like you did with Foundation, but I’m also really enjoying the practice rounds with Ezra, definitely cool to see two top players discuss and try different ways to play a hole! I also liked the “slapping joke” :D
Love you guys! Stay methodical and keep on slingin!
I read “keep on singing” :D not a bad singer either, our multitalented Brodie
Brodie has a way of making these 30 minute videos feel like 10 mins. Entertaining
Really nice to see and hear a true practice round, not just the best shots.
Love seeing you both work through the holes and figuring out your shots... go get 'em
Ill be attending the MCO this weekend. It’ll be my first DGPT event to go to ever. I started playing around 9 months ago and have been hooked ever since. Love the videos and the energy you bring. Can’t wait to watch you play
Love to see how fast u get of from that wobble in ur forehand shots. Great work sir !
I’ve been loving the practice round content! You are the person I first learned from when I picked up DG last year! Keep it up!
Really loving these practice rounds from you and Ez. Please keep them coming.
Brodie's game is looking really good you've definitely proven yourself and deserve to be on tour!!!! That's impressive considering how long you've been playing!!!! Ezra's game is looking smooth as silk!!! Everyone wants that form!!! Ezra makes it look so easy I love it!!!!
I think of practice round content out there, you two actually put more technical thought and discussion in than probably any others.
I love watching your progression. I started playing well into my 40s, with really bad knees, but watching some of your early videos helped me get to a point I can throw 400 feet with bad knees anyway, and your putting drills were a great help. I REALLY hope to see you pull off a win on tour!
Love these videos man. You guys make it feel like we’re on the tee box with you. Great content!
Love watching these videos every week. So cool to see Ezra play with the inventor of disc golf 💪
26:52 I live for these types of moments with friends. Thanks for sharing the fun.
Lol Ezra threw some bombs on 2 and Brodie was like damn let me step it up. Love Ezra and Brodie practice rounds
Love the videos! It’s great to get an early breakdown on the course so I can make my Grip6pick6 entries!
Welcome to music city guys
You guys did it again. Thats a tough course. Good luck to both of you.
these are great
Take your time recovering! It’s just as important as it is to workout. Can’t wait to see you kill it this week. It seems like this could be a strong performance for both of you
This genre of video where pros collaborate to solve holes or problems that may crop up when playing by sharing ideas is my favorite kind, and IMO there's not enough of them. I understand pros are mutual competitors, but when you can put that aside and collaborate to figure out holes together, that's where the gold is, not just for me the viewer but also I would guess that's where pros can expand the limits and creativity of their games. (Maybe pros do this on the regular but don't make videos with it? I don't know.) If any of the above is part of the reason y'all are making these videos, the only thing I would suggest is to listen to each other more. There's enough times in these videos to notice where someone is talking and mid-sentence the other person just starts talking on top of them, indicating they weren't listening. I would think that limits the actual benefits that could be gotten by this kind of collaboration. It could just be part of the fun chemistry that others have mentioned though, and I agree, y'all seem to work really well together.
You and Ezra should have a distance contest. Whatever disc is thrown the furthest should be signed by both of you and promptly sent to me. 😂
Welcome to Nashville!! I know you’re focused on the tournament, but if you get a chance to explore, please avoid Broadway. Check out The Nations: 51 North Taproom and Southern Grist
I won that tournament around 2003.
Great areas
Another great video - keep up the great work and keep pushing. I'm certain y'all will be in the top 10 soon!
Great content lately 🤙
Brozra videos are the best.
If you’re are very in St. Louis, I would recommend La Vista park in Godfrey Illinois. One of the best courses around. Now of course for you it may be pretty simple and easy but still in my opinions one of the best around
It’s is also only dedicated to disc golf, just with trails and stuff like that 18 holes
Great video! I find thumbers super accurate on a 300 ft shot. I was hoping to see one there on hole 9's second shot. Good luck in the tournament!
13:30
Brody not throwing a shot he doesnt want in the tournament.
I might be wrong of course, but i see 100% focus there! That's impressive. Staying to the gameplan! Not clouding the judgement during competition by practising shots thats not likely to be useful! Professional mindset :D
"Woah...I'm famous now. Im in a youtube video...No autographs please" - The guy on the Mower...🤘😎🤘
If you still want advice, what helped me the most was to throw with an anheizer angle and just lean over the disc pretty much exactly how you do it, but try to flick the front of the disc slightly down. I don’t know if that helps but it got rid or 90-95% of the wobble for me.
cant throw all shots on anhyzer. espacially with his power there sould mostly be a hyzer release
@@larrylrs7226 Its mostly for getting the form right and when you lean over the disc it releases flat. And once you can do that it’s pretty simple to slightly adjust the angle for each shot.
Brodie I saw you repping the Ohio State Hat. You and Ezra should come play at the Brent Hambrick Memorial Open on July 22-24. Ohio doesn’t get too much love on the Pro Tour and we would love for you guys to come out.
you should start the videos by talking about the last competition, how it went and what was good what was not good.
he does this on multiple shows via Foundation. Literally hours of talking about rounds.
Need me some more darkhorse stickers!!
What do you guys like more? Making these awesome course breakdown videos or actually shooting well and placing in the top 20?
Keep making practice round videos...or at least a bunch of full courses 😜😃
You guys should try doing next day coverage commentary together sometime for one of the post produced media companies. I would bet at the very least the commentary wouldn't be boring.
Brodie on hole one: got a little head today
Me: Lucky
Fifth I guess. Nice job in Belton Brodie!
Thanks! Still lots of work to do.
Hole 7 is basically dogwood 17/ the thorn 6
You guys work really well together, your personalities and style of play seem very similar. I was thinking though, it might be good (not only for us as viewers but also for you as a competitor) to do some practice rounds with someone who is less like you. For example, someone like Uli who has played much longer, doesn't have your power and more importantly, has a very different play style. Maybe it would benefit you, as you would be exposed to different ideas and lines, etc.
Nice
I know it's a quite long way to go but I would think it would Be really fun if you came to Sweden and tried the oldest course Europe kärsön
Hole 4 throw a low backhand skip shot
Did you guys film this yesterday? 3/30? The winds were soooooo brutal yesterday!
Is this a normal course throughout the year? Looks like the baskets are temp right? I live in the midwest and was just wondering!
Could you throw a big sky anhyzer off the tee on hole 3?
3 holes in a row (2, 3 and 4) that are 700' par 4s. Hole 3 and 4 both 723. Think they could've mixed it up a bit more? xD
3:07 "We got a little head today" Giggity
Yeah, I rather a little head then tail sometimes, depending on the day. lol
Film a round practicing last years winners tee shot lines 🤩
That’s a fun idea
Does having muscles help you throw farther?
It certainly doesn't make you throw shorter.
Look at Calvin and Eagle. They are stick figures compared to Ezra.
They throw just a far if not farther.
What muscles help you with is playing for longer time with fewer injuries.
More muscles, and stronger bone density = play disc golf for longer.
So Ezra will def out last Calvin and Eagle in their careers.
But for disc-golf i'm 99% sure it's all technique.
@@MrRobix13 yeah..... no
they throw farther, but thats not an argument. Muscles equal power, so if those guys would grow some they would most certainly not only preserve their bodys but also gain distance
Lol if eagle had Ezra arms he would avg 600 ft easy 🤣
I tweeted at you as well but any reason on switching back to the bro d blend roaches from the rocket?
The Rocket roaches in cold weather don’t have great grip
Anyone else enjoy these more than the Jomez practice rounds?
Better see you in the top 10 brother
I working at it
Ezra_ Powah!!!;;
Anyone know if Ezra’s shirt is for sale anywhere? I like that green
Might be on Discraft’s site
Second
Is this tourney broadcast live anywhere?
Who would win out of a boxing match?Brody or Ezra
You got what today 3:03 Brodie?
Anyone know what channel is covering this tournament?
Luke Samson sighting! Lol lets go!
Ezra just putts nothing but lasers~~
12:35 😱
4:42 is Ezra the Loch Ness Monster?
So, what I learned from this video is that I need to throw a Zone
Zones are goated
When’s the music City open?
Fri-Sun this week
How is this not a gold?
Probably because the course doesn't have any character. There are a few technical shots required but there will be a ton of spike hyzers. Honestly it's just a forgettable course.
@@kero1640 ok I was just representing my town. Your critique is accurate. Honestly, cedar hill and cane ridge are more technical courses. I just want a pro tour stop here.
@@FooMoDee don't think I'm saying it's a bad course. For a local course it is really nice but for pros it just doesn't really offer much for players or viewers. Nothing wrong being proud of a local course that makes the tour as a silver event.
Walla
Brodie are you 100% playing Music City Open now?
Yes
Is this a temporary course?
The baskets are all temporary so maybe yes
"no free ads, Ezra"...🤣😂. You guys do the best practice rounds, much better than Jomez. Their last one was pretty cringy. I thought their caricatures of Texas cowboys wasn't funny, at all.
You are incorrect
I love that broady throws a janice thrasher lol, he basically has to throw it but its still funny that discraft had no stock on any disc then did a special edition Janice thrasher that nobody asked for. the good ol days lmao
Nobody asked for haha. It sold out in one day
@@BrodieSmith lol yeah because Discraft wasting making literally any other version of it.
Someone get Brodie and Ezra a ZFLX Machete. Especially for Thumbers/Tomahawks.
And they can get that 400ft+ distance for overhand shot placement.
Montell Jordan... DENIED!
Is this course fun at all? I spectated last year at MCO and it just seems like the course lacks character/soul.
Luke Samson playing a practice round with no shirt. I know it's a Silver Series but c'mon.
Your wearing the knee brace wrong
how?
@@BrodieSmith it's scrunched up around your knee. so you're loosing some flexibility and causing potential for acl or mcl tears. ideally to prevent injury the brace should be supported by the size of the thigh and the strength helps create compression on the knee itself, but you have it like how an ace bandage is used for sprains which is to prevent mobility. You've seen my comments, usually I'd be trolling but when it comes to tendon health I don't joke. I tore my mcl trying to get a disc off a house and I will say the braces with 2 Velcro straps that strap to the thigh and calf are my favorite
This was not the most fun course to watch last year. Didn't that teeny tiny kid from Texas win?
Ezra might need some speech therapy. He glides those Rs. Unless he’s got an accent?
Camera man needs to calm down…all the whipping the camera around is killing the quality of this video
Looks identical to the Jonesboro open 🙄🙄very boring course to watch
Cow pasture golf... this is the easiest course I’ve ever seen.
