The way I do it is, as soon the recovery animation is about to end I input D1+2. Once the animation returns to neutral I press 2. The goal is to hide the DSS animation. I feel like it's strict timing because if you do it too soon. Only the DSS will come out but not 2. Be careful though, opponent can duck since its a high and jab since its fake pressure. The opponent was close to death so they probably didnt want to press buttons.

@@Jermainskee i also noticed in the open space, you can only a 2nd one after the 1st one gets blocked.. the 3rd one will not reach because of the push back, it will give you a whiff
