While I agree with your points, the Diamond back is mainly used by Spies as a 'get-out-of-jail-free' weapon rather than as a weapon for Spy to help on the frontlines better. Example: A spy backstabs Heavy who is being healed by a Medic. With other guns you would either have to trickstab the Medic, attempt to land your revolver shots, or cloak away with the medic staying alive. Or you can shoot the medic with a 102 damage diamondback crit and follow up with 1 or 2 midrange shots. Other than that, great video and good luck on your TF2 journey!
On a class that desperately needs it to be even remotely functional, it's a broken weapon, on an egregiously terrible class. Which in the end balances it out completely since it is spy exclusive.
I don't think it is controversial to say that the Diamondback is better than the Amby. In fact it is pretty well known. The thing is that the Diamondback is seen as just too easy and no skill while the Amby is seen as the cool swagger gun that requires skill so people like it better
