Thank you, Ran, for the kind words. As a team, we've really put in a lot of effort into designing and developing our website :) All the best from Veza team :)
Fellow Serbian/s being showcased in a Flux video, I'm proud :) Wish you all the best in the future, I an kinda a beginner and this is definitely motivational
Checking out some of these portfolios on mobile shows that they didn't think everything through for all screen sizes. EG: the hover effect eclipse has for their moon phases, doesn't work on mobile because obviously you don't hover. I'd have liked to see something that has an alt method for mobile too
I understand that you are looking at this from a designer perspective, but for example, this first website is way too complicated and without any value from an average visitor perspective. 3D animations, long scrolls to just open some random video... No one has time or concentration for something that is completely unnecessary. A more simple approach to UI/UX is always the way to go, imho. Not to mention that all these Webflow pages look almost identical. I know it's a trend, but it's already getting boring.
A case study would be interesting where you have two sites with identical content, but one with lots of animations etc. and the other in a more basic way. Would love to know whether the extra amount of work and time to design these pretty looking pages leads to more sales in the end. Does anyone of you have any information about that?
7:42 Cute, but is that practical? Because the way I see it, people aren't looking to explore, they just want to consume. Designers would explore, sure, but the average consumer may ignore this because it's not evident at first glance what it is or what's for. I assume that design agencies are targeting a certain demographic, but if you're an individual looking for inspiration, this isn't it. Spoon feed your consumer, the easier it is for them, the better.
You're absolutely right and I think many of these sites are way over done and far from practical, but clearly these agencies are choosing to show their full creative potential at the cost of page speed. It's one big sales pitch or candy shop, showing off everything they can. Probably, or hopefully, the websites they're building for their clients are more lean...
@@wilbertdune Thanks for the feedback. We will take it into consideration but we do believe the mentoring sets our programs apart and our students love it! In the meantime, we hope that all the free resources on this channel and at our website can be a help to you. All the best. ✌

I love that immediate dive into the content.

These were definitely the best portfolios I've seen so far! Took something as inspiration from each website.
Woo, the testimonial pary was really out of the box, thanks for this video Ran
Incredible round of websites!! So many talented web devs out there!!
Thank you a lot for this video. This is very interesting and informative. Keep posting like those amazing videos, this is awesome.
Hey Ran, I could litteraly watch your videos 24/7. I am really enjoying. 💪
Glad you like them!

On top of that they take lot of time to load and the pagespeeds become awful as well.
My question is tho... are these websites purely made from webflow?
Hey I have done a speedtest on the first site. Turns out to have a 70% performance, what is a fine score

In 5 days we're gonna see a new VIDEO EDITING COURSE from Flux academy. 😅
these sites look amazing and all, but how do they sacrifice seo?
Oimachi! 🎉 simple yet effective! Where do you get animations like that?
I really don't understand how this is made in webflow its crazy
😢

As nice as these are. They are terrible for Pagespeed.
I've never noticed on any of your videos any focus about Pagespeed.
i was thinking the same thing, also wont the sites be heavy on low spec computers?

Thanks for the video it inspired me much. Can we found this websites on Webflow as template ?
these are great, but they need to make sure features and assets work on mobile.
Things that are 'cool' VS things that get sales.
Is it possible to import a 3D model created in Blender into Webflow?
Please show how to do this with custom three js.
why the webflow course is so expensive? if its 100$ I'll gladly try it
Because we put months of work into it, and we pay our mentors to help our students.
@@FluxAcademy I get it but not everyone can afford your courses. you guys should add a package where mentoring is not part of the offer.

Lame. It's all visual. We can tell nothing about their work from these sites.
