I knew you wouldn't disappoint us on Christmas! Working overtime. I hope y'all are SUBSCRIBED and LIKING every video!!!!!!!!!! Another great comprehensive review. 2020 needs to mark the end of jar packaging. Mostly because of your reviews lol
Amazing Review! If you ever start your own skincare line, I would love to work for you. Thank you for always being genuine and honest in your reviews. Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas 🎄🎁 Sarah! I’ve heard a lot of people say it’s not hydrating enough and I can see that but I do like it as a layering product. I LOVE the texture of this because it feels like a burst of water hence the name water cream, and I LOVE that it is so simple so that it’s not for certain people but for everyone. I have a back up of it and a little does go a long way. I’m so glad that you reviewed this and I like it, do I think it’s the most hydrating, no but I do think its pretty darn good for everyone. 💕 Simple is so good especially for use who use retinoids, it’s exactly what I need myself.
I just found your channel, and I’m so happy I did! I love how you breakdown the product and go over the ingredients. Your criteria for products is inline with mine, so I find your reviews incredibly helpful.
So glad you found me here! 😁😁 I tend to think a review should be more about the ingredients than how I think it "feels" because that will be different for everyone and the ingredients never lie. I'm so excited for new products to play with in 2020.
This really does have a "burst of water" effect when added to skin, but is not thick enough for winter. I like adding a few drops of oil or the Krave Barrier Repair to bulk it up for winter. Curious to see how it performs alone in summer
Merry Christmas to you and your family, and of course Lincoln and all the other cuties. I’ll have to binge watch this weeks videos. It’s been a hectic week. 🎄☃️🎄
I know what you mean, Christmas time always seems to be stressful regardless of how much planning ahead you do. I hope you get some time to relax and have a great Christmas Day. 😘😘😘
Most of people that I heard using it say this cream makes them drier after using it, that is including a dermatologist Dr. Dray here in UA-cam. So I don’t feel like I want to even try
I appreciate a simple “base” moisturizer since I use so many other products. I’ll be passing on this one though. I actually wasn’t too familiar with it not until now so I’m glad that you reviewed it. Thanks, love🍃🌸
Carrie!!! Christmas came and I was so touched by your gift! It brought me to tears- you are so sweet!!!! 😅😃😀 It matches my earrings perfectly and it is the perfect touch of sparkle! You are just so kind and hearing from you always makes my day! Sending you hugs and kisses 😘😘😘
Have you tried the cleanser yet? I wasn;t expecting much but I ended up really liking it, nice lather, cleanses makeup and sunscreen very well, and doesn't leave my skin feeling dry or right.
@@NOBSBeauty Yeah, I just started using the cleanser. I use it as part of a double cleanse and you are right it doesn't dry my skin. I quite like it. I haven't used it alone. I thought it might not be able to remove makeup but I'll give it a try.
This product is specifically for people with fungal infections/facial yeast and sensitive skin. I mix it with 100% squalane oil to make it more moisturizing in the winter - and it’s the ONLY moisturizer I’ve tried that doesn’t cause flare ups. Love it.
Hi Blanket! So funny about the turkeys 🦃 I do not see myself purchasing this (even with the short ingredient list) but I LOVE LOVE LOVE her Beet Shield. I just think the Oat So Simple is a tad bit expensive for what it is. I am itching to try the Klairs blue repair cream next. I might be more inclined to spend that money on the ‘barrier’ product.
I have very sensitive Rosacea “fungal acne” skin. I’m also allergic to wheat (oat) when ingested. Should I stay away from this one? Trying to find skincare w/o glycerine, as several sites and tests claims it triggers yeast. I’ve tried moisturizers that contained oat in the past without knowing until after. Didn’t work for me, but could also be due to the shea butter it contained, as well as other bad ingredients for sensitive skin, and fungal acne. The simpler the better, as my skin gets easily aggravated, and I’m sensitive to Niacinamide, vitamin C, AHA/BHA, as wellmas green tea. I’m also allergic to diary (the milk protein it self), lactose intolerant, peanuts, almonds, soy (all its derivatives), and wheat. I tried snail products and boom, contact dermatitis. Dunno why😭😭😭
So it is controversial, some say that if you are allergic to something applying it topically will have the same effects, but there are others that say this is not true- I'm guessing it is somewhere in the middle, some may have issues and others probably will not. Terrible answer, I know. I've been working on a video about fungal acne for some time, hopefully I'll have it done in the next few weeks. It is such a controversial and complex topic. Have you ever checked the simpleskincarescience website out? I found it is a great resource for those with fungal acne- I'll link to it, but full of great recommendations including a lot of fragrance free options- it is here: simpleskincarescience.com/fungal-acne-products-malassezia-pityrosporum-folliculitis/
When I'm not mixing this with a retinol or AHA serum I tend to apply it towards the end of my routine to seal everything in. Some days when my skin is dry I'll mix this with a little retinol and apply it earlier in my routine. I also like to mix a little of the Oat Cream with the Klairs Midnight Blue Calming Cream and use it at the end of my routine.
@@NOBSBeauty very nice thank you for these big skin care tips it makes going into my skincare feel more safe haha hope that makes sense I hope you have a good day! 😊
This product needs shea butter or glycerin. It has little to no moisturizing properties. Buy Dear Klairs Water cream for almost the same price. (I do like Krave's matcha hemp cleanser, and the moisturizing serum called "great barrier relief")
Have you ever tried the blue light. I just got one by forea and need to look up. Do I use it all over my face... I would love this if it didn't make me oily!!!
Those blue light therapies can make a big difference, but you have to be consistent and use it on a regular basis, it can make a big difference, just be patient. With Foreo I would use it on areas of concern, areas where there are blemishes, and areas where you have had blemishes. You don't need to use it over your entire face, but if you decided to it wouldn't hurt or damage anything. These can be really great tools, and ones that won't irritate or dry out your skin like other products.
@@NOBSBeauty thank you for letting me know what u think. I have been using it. I had one under the skin and it is almost gone:) I had to do something bc I'm sick of them popping up on me. My face is so oily. I saw on the edit sale a blue light but it is big and I didnt think it would work as good as the target one. I'm happy with it so far. My daughter is just get some she will he 13 in January. So she will be needing it also. Thanks i hope u had a good Christmas. It didn't feel like Christmas to me maybe bc our weather, it was almost 70 outside.

I enjoy this product for mixing too. I put the Krave great barrier relief into product, mix, and apply. Think it’s great. And I love oatmeal 😄
I'm just trying the Great Barrer Relief and so far liking that, and everything I've tried from Krave has been wonderful so far!

I really want to try it. Great score! Love your videos and Merry Christmas for you.
Haven't had a chance to try it out yet but I also picked it up during the 15% off, along with the Great Barrier Reef and the Matcha cleanser.

I'm going to have to try that for the winter- hadn't thought about mixing it with an oil- very good idea!
What’s your skin type?
I love this color on you!

This moisturizer seemed interesting to me at first but I feel like even though it’s a good deal it seems Unremarkable. At least it’s not expensive.
Hi Lincoln !!🦃🐕♥️
I never heard about this skin care line...I will always support Company who don't test on animals..🐇🐰❤❤❤

Dr day says jar packaging is fine !
Btw its 2.7oz not 1.7!
She does but she dont use alot of actives in lotions dr day don't. Everyone has there own opinion. :) to each there own. But I hate jars :)

This makes my skin really dry and tight even though I have oily skin...
I wonder if you skin is sensitive to one of the ingredients or if it just isn't enough beneficial ingredients and your skin is wanting more?
Yeah I’m more on the dehydrated oily side, so I needed some more hydration underneath!
what is your skin type? dry? oily? combination??
i recommend THE ORDINARY 100% Plant-Derived Hemi Squalane for your hair.
This has lots of not good reviews :( even dr.dray didnt like it
