Thats really useful thanks.just got my deep cut blades and housing and the blades needed to be put in. Me completely clueless as to how to do it. !! Also that information about all the blades fitting all the housings is massively useful. Great video.
Thank you my friend I am so glad you were able to learn and gain some helpful tips 😍. Have a beautiful day!
I saw these on Amazon but was wondering if they would work as they are not cricket. You are a beautiful, and very knowledgeable lady! You helped me with my Joy machine, I am in card making heaven. Lol. I still have so much to learn. You are my go to girl. Still trying hard not to stalk you. :D
You crack me up sweet friend!! You ask and follow up with on any crafting questions you have!! You’re just the sweetest 🧡. I am so happy to hear you are having a blast with your card making!! Have a beautiful Sunday!!!
Tk you. This was very helpful.
Thank you so much for this. I just got my cricut maker 3 and was hoping to buy the other adaptive tools, but OH MY Gosh the prices are extortionate. To get all the tools (perforated, embossing, foil tool etc...)I could buy another machine! Do you or anyone else know of any good off branded adaptive tools for the cricut machines.... I would really appreciate it
I’ve not had to change my blade yet nor aware of the angle for my Joy. Was about to ask if the replacement fits all models till you answered at the end of the vid.
What’s cool is that this company I collaborate with is in the processing of getting me a link for Joy blade replacements!!
Thank you for mentioning that all the blades fit the one housing. I was worried about that.
all the 3 colour replacement blades can be use using fine point blade housing for cricut maker?
Yes they can my friend. The basic sliver housing blade comes in all large Cricut machines ☺️
Thank you so much for this xx
Thank you
Please help
What color of blade I use if I cut
250gsm paper
Holographic sticker
And what color of the mat I use?
May I ask if all the blades can use the same housing and if it is possible which one would work?
All large cricut machines like the air and maker use the same housing like the sliver one that comes with the machine. They have differ colors to make it easier to know which blade is what. But as along as you know you’re good. As for the Joy blades that’s a smaller housing so no. 🤪Cricut could’ve made it all the same but nooooo. Lol
So, you can use the standard blade, deep cut blade and fabric blade in the the same housing. But the maker does have other additional housings that are made for special tools which go in the other clamp but that’s an entirely different conversation.
I hope this helps clarify my sweet friend. 💖
When u were using the lightgrip what did you set your dial to
Hello, I turned it to custom so I could chose my own materials and I chose parchment paper. 😊
is this blade also compatible to cricut maker 3? im planning to buy that blade too for because its cheaper than the original cricut bladd
Yes all my blades work for the large machines and they carry cricut joy blades as well ☺️
Do you need to change the pressure before you cut or just leave it to default? I read reviews on Amazon that is cuts through the backing even at default pressure.
I am not aware of that happening to me but you should always double check you have the right blade for the fabric you’re cutting. If it seems to cut through I would lessen the pressure. Or look into the update in the calibration of your machine. I’ve had to do that with a new blade or a new tool before.
Many don’t realize updates to firmware and tools are needed throughout the year. I have found these blades have been the best at cutting all my fabrics to vinyls to card stock.
I hope this helps. ☺️have a great day!
Hi. Its me again..so I tried the red covered blade (which is supposed to be for Vynil and Cardstock). I test cut on a Siser easyweed iron-on vynil. Setting the pressure to default, it did cut through the backing. I changed the pressure to less, it did the same thing but on lesser areas. I tried calibrating, but my machine is only giving me options to calibrate knife, rotary blade and print and cut. So I scrap that out. I updated the software: same thing. And then, i tried using the yellow covered one instead. I set the pressure to default. It cut the material as expected. So, maybe these blades are too sharp and you have to step down a bit for the intented blade per material? Well, its trial and error I supposed since its not a Cricut brand.
@@ClaiCesar That is good to know my friend. Or there was a packaging error and it was deep cut blade with the wrong cover. I haven't had that issue. But I guess looking on the bright side- I rather it be sharp than dull. :P Have a great day my sweet friend!! I'm so grateful for your follow up!!! :)
@@ClaiCesar did you find a solution? mine keeps cutting through the backing as well. I am using siser glitter vinyl with the red top blades.
Did you save me £££ dumb me got explore 3 I was going to purchase the housing and blades !
Can I use it with the cricut joy?
You can grab the Cricut Joy blades here from the same awesome company! Joy Blades- amzn.to/3fQgAzi
Is there a bonded fabric blade in with the bundle if so what color is it?
Hello Jamie the fabric blade is the pink Cricut housing blade but I have used the deep cut blade for my thicker faux leather and have had success. I have the fabric blade but I rarely use it. I would try the deep cut blade and see if that gives you the cut quality you need before you get the fabric blade. I hope this helps.
I bought joy off brand on Amazon
Can cricut joy use it or not?
They have Cricut Joy blades as well. Please see link in the description. 😊
HERE I THOUGHT I HAD TO BUY MULTIPLE HOUSING UNITS.WE KNOW THOSE ARE HIGH PRICE
Yes the sure are. Just note this is for the bigger machines only - the basic blades only. The maker does have a quick swap housing unit for different attachments for fabrics and materials.
The Joy has its own blade size too.
Music is too loud, unwatchable
Thank you. I realized that the music was way too loud after upload.
hi, I have the same set of blades..is there a specific angle or position to place the new blade? thanks in advance
No the machine will usually align it for you. 😉👍
