Ohio Street Outlaws! (List Race 2)

- On Sunday October 22, Our Second List Race at Friendship Park in Smithfield, Ohio. This track is an old air strip, with a newly added concrete "Launch Pad" , however to keep it as street as possible, we decided to start on the asphalt 75 ft. out for a true no prep, on an old air strip. We are humbled by the amount of people we had show up to watch, get autographs, and talk to us about our rides. We will be back to friendship next year I am sure, and hopefully on a Saturday next time instead of a Sunday!

I know so many cars that could've smoked these guys here in NH years ago. Raw HP doesn't do much good if you can't get it to the pavement. I saw so many sleepers running here over 20yrs ago working Top of Staging on Grudge Nights. Hell, I had a 73' Challenger that smoked cars that cost thousands more factory w/a 340 4bbl under the hood. If you can't get it to hook, what difference does it make? Mine would pull the front end up every shift almost off the ground w/a factory slap shifter. Then again, my dad built BB/GD's from scratch that beat Shirley before she went pro. No lie. I grew up "no prep". Just had "Murphy's Law" happen too many times. Still love going triple digits on my 79' KZ 1000 ST though.

Kid was drivin the shit out the little truck. Its a bad bitch. All cars there were killer. Be nice to see them actually hook though. Bunch of fast guys spinnin the whole way down. Good drivers. Great vids

better than kissing a telephone pole, or a tree, or a ditch.....its called 'a controlled environment''.....if you think the stuff your watching the 405 guys doing ''on the street'' is really street racing your not really paying attention and your just seeing what they want you to see. All of their street racing is on closed roads and there are paramedics and support crews an more off camera. Yes, the 405 guys will occasionally get down off camera on the street, but they sure aren't doing it with anybodys blessing.....I promise you if big chief or ANY other racer on that show gets caught street racing, or worse get into an accident, one that causes litigation and courts and bad press for the show.....they are done....careers over, at least on discovery....any old street racer will tell you, when your young and don't have liabilities like families and kids and businesses at stake, fuck yes street racing is the shit and track racing is for pussies, but then you grow up and it all changes. Safety first.
on the other hand, crashing at this particular track, with that old ass ARMCO guard rail, you might as well be going into a ditch or bouncing off a tree cuz that shit will kill you just as quick......no offense Chris.....
