They had 60 years to get poor Muslims out of madrassah education into mainstream education, so as to make them employable, but could not. As a result, Muslims have very low participation in skills and knowledge based economy, and too high involvement in crime, simply because madrassah education does not make them employable except as mullahs in small mosques. BJP government did what they could in 10 years, and they know they have a lot more to do in terms of reforms, but they could have done only so much in 10 years with limited budget. I have no doubt they will put in their best effort to reform education in the next 10 years. But Indian Muslims have to quit madrassah and join the mainstream education system otherwise they will be left behind again.

will agree with one statement from our esteemed guest, that India is a country with complex dynamics. It is very difficult to unite everybody under one banner as there are lot of parameters that make it difficult i.e. language, caste, religion etc., of course economy plays a big part of middle class and lower middle class people. To be fair if we look at the GDP and rate of growth in the economy, the country has performed very well for past 10 years including job growth, however there are few factors which led to the downfall of the ruling govt(i.e. BJP) in the strong hold states of Uttar Pradesh and other couple of other states due to internal politics within the party and focusing more on southern states instead of the core support, which was in favor during 2019 and 2014. There are southern states (i.e. Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka) which will not favor a party like BJP no matter what , it is like Republican party working to convert NY or CA or Democratic party working to convert Texas 🙂. Agreed as national party the focus should be across the country, but at the end of the day numbers matter , hence electoral votes are more important than popular vote, after all you can be darling of the mass but it is of no use if you do not have the numbers to create a govt on its own. Coalition govt comes with lots of strings attached.
