@@AdamMarczakYT Hi Adam, I'm a bit confused with question number 6 on your practice test. "If you want to run legacy applications which require specialized infrastructure then which cloud deployment model should you choose?"
I choose for the hybrid model as you said in your video that for the hybrid model one of the advantages is to run legacy apps here. Is it possible to clarify why a private cloud model is the correct answer here?
Thanks in advance!
You are right. I meant what is the minimum setup required, which would be Private. But I added Hybrid as an answer as it makes sense too :) Thanks!!
Hi Adam. Thanks for the amazing clear organized course. It helped me alot.
It is the best. Keep on doing great things bro

Hi Adam, I found the videos are very detailed and well structured. Thanks for all your efforts. I scheduled my exam next month and started preparing with the material provided by you.
Few questions Related to the topic- I read somewhere that On Premise and Private Cloud referred as different Cloud deployment Models. I believe they are same. Can you share your thoughts on it?
Also In addition to Public ,Private and Hybrid deployment model, I read about Community Model e.g. Azure Germany, Azure China. Do we need to consider it in this deployment model list?
Also there are some separate deployment models for Government entity. Can you add something on that?
On-perm means your own server rooms. But not every on-perm is a private cloud. In order to be cloud you need to provide certain characteristics like self service, scalability, elasticity, etc.
I don’t think Azure uses community hosting model. Azure china is just external partner company. Some of those are answered in my Geographical episode of AZ900 so check it out :)
The best!!!
Hi Adam, if a company has IaaS and the company handles PaaS SaaS, will they fall under Hybrid deployment model or Public deployment model? Thank you in advance.
Hi Adam, thank you for the tutorials. These are really smooth to learn Azure along with practice tests and content.
I have a question on this episode:
Are On-premise cloud and private cloud same thing or else? I could find differences online between these two. But from this tutorial, I could understood that both are same. I am confused.
yes both are same
He explained it in another comment - I will copy paste: On-perm means your own server rooms. But not every on-perm is a private cloud. In order to be cloud you need to provide certain characteristics like self service, scalability, elasticity, etc.
Private cloud can be on-prem on hosted on a third party csp (cloud service provider) - see definition from microsoft's site: A private cloud consists of computing resources used exclusively by users from one business or organization. A private cloud can be physically located at your organization's on-site (on-premises) datacenter, or it can be hosted by a third-party service provider.
@@pearlkaur5948 Thank you for the explanation.
Adam - I understand that the term Hybrid Cloud is used when a company has a presence in one of the Public Cloud providers such as Azure/AWS/Google ... etc also has a Private Cloud On-Prem which is the pretty much the case with financial institutions that cant move data to the cloud due to regulations.
However, what if a company has a presence in one of the Public Cloud providers such as Azure/AWS/Google apart from having its own data-center(s). Would this kind of a setup also signify/Imply a Hybrid Cloud Scenario? Note that in this case, the On-Prem data center does not have any Private Cloud features.
Yes. In this context on-prem and private cloud are treated the same way. So hybrid is either public + private cloud or public + on-prem datacenter.
Hi Adam,
Few questions -
1. If a company provisions it's own data center and everything will that be on-prem model or private cloud model ?
2. If public cloud vendor provides dedicated resources(don't know if they do) can we call it private. or is it like untill and unless everything is managed by client we can't call it private ?
Hey 1. depends if you provide features that constitute a cloud, my first episode explains what does the cloud mean 2. no, dedicated hosts are still public cloud offers, they just allow physical separation of hosts for demanding clients
@@AdamMarczakYT In essence if the datacenter is owned and managed by the company and provide features of cloud, it's a private cloud
Hello Adam your videos are great but when you updated your videos or maybe you can guide me for where to find the last topics including in the new version of the exam az 900.
Hi Adam,
Is a public cloud basically like a service model? for example, IaaS?
And also, can you deploy a service model, for example IaaS using a public clouds resources?
Try rewatching the last 2 episodes. I think you are mixing responsibility model with deployment models.
@@AdamMarczakYT Sorry, Just realised I was assuming cloud services can only be offered via a public cloud lol. Thanks for the videos!
Regarding to the test: "If you want to run legacy applications which require specialized infrastructure then which cloud deployment model should you choose?" Why not a hybrid? In hybrid you also can do everything you want on the "private side" of hybrid cloud. Isn't a private cloud actually a company intranet?
Interesting take. I probably will rephrase the question, but in general if you have App A and you want to run it on specialized infra, why do you want to go through the process of setting up Hybrid Cloud when all you need is just Private Cloud. But I understand the confusion, both will support it, but private is the logical first choice here.
Hi Adam ,Trying to Understand Real time examples of Public ,Hybrid,Private Can you please help with that
👍👍👍👍
Hey Adam, It's my request can you create one video establishing VPN connectivity in Azure with the demo it would be very helpful to understand the concept types of VPN connectivity n all. It is still very confusing for me. A humble request.
I might in future. Will see, but this is not part of az-900 cert for sure. Maybe for az-104 in the future.
Hi Adam Can you please add Azure Sentinel Videos also
I'm confused here. Which cloud model does Azure follow? is it Public, Private, hibrid or three of these?
im begging you to do a azure administration course! please! AZ-104
Maybe in the future :)
Thank u all very much
How would we know what information we can store in the cloud or not? I'm sure region has something to do with it. For example, health information in the cloud
Check trust center, find compliance standards that apply to your health information and check how Azure supports this.
docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/compliance/?WT.mc_id=AZ-MVP-5003556
Hi Adam, i need more celerity with example on this topic. please if possible guide.
Try reading Microsoft Learn based on attached study guide.
Hi Adam! Are you going to create other azure courses?
That's the plan!
sir waiting for your videos please update all the remaining videos please sir , when will you upload all please tell?
Today I released episode 7. 3 more will come within a week. Entire course will be out in about 3 months. Stay tuned!
But If I host everything on-premises then how is that a " cloud" service", so private cloud means my own DC and my own Hardware....where is the cloud there? thanks
Hi adam one question. what is the difference between on prime and private cloud?
On premises maybe?
Really Adam u are gem 👏👏👏👏👏luv u
Thank you sir :)
Just curious, does Private cloud mean that you need to have your "own data center"? Appreciate if you could clarify
You can rent a data server, but it's still yours.
@@AdamMarczakYT Thanks for clarifying. The diagram that shown in the video, shows your "own data center"
please release all episodes within a months
I'll try my best!
@@AdamMarczakYT Please don't rush it all out. That causes UA-cam burn-out to a lot of creators and they just stop making videos. Please, take your time and at your pace. We will wait for them as you feel like making them. I don't want you to quit this great content because of too much pressure.
@@ClawSpike Thank you so much. Of'course while i will try my best to release my course as fast as possible I won't sacrifice quality for speed. A typical dilemma in our IT world isn't it. In this case I rather delay episode by a week but get my storyboards, animations, flows to a perfect state than do a half-assed job :) Thanks!
Hello Adam,
Thank you for this course.
I am little bit confused while relating cloud service models (Iaas, Paas and SaaS) and cloud deployment models (private, public, hybrid)
A few questions:
1. If we choose private cloud, is it similar to on prem/ capEx model where we are responsible for everything?
2. Is this understanding right? - we are renting resources from cloud provider but we are responsible to configure it and pay as we use?
I too have the same doubt regarding question 1. If they use their own hardware and data centers, how can it be any different than the conventional system?
And in case of second question, you are right but it depends on the type of service model you opted for.
funny fact: Azure Reserved VM Instances are an example of CAPEX
I set up a free account to try and do the excersises like this one: azure.microsoft.com/en-us/overview/what-are-private-public-hybrid-clouds/?WT.mc_id=AZ-MVP-5003556, and click start free, it just take me to my Azure Desktop.
I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, someone please explain
sir how to write the exam
I don't get this. Private cloud is pretty much the same as on-premises. Why not keep your hardware on premises and move it to cloud if you have to manage everything? What's the point of doing it? When you move to private cloud, how does microsoft help you?
Interesting question
dont quite understand the advantages of public cloud; it just seems like advantages of the cloud in general.
Could anyone explain what is the difference between own data center and private cloud ?
I think On premises means the cloud is hosted on the data center and builded in the premise, while the private cloud are hosted on remote infrastructure like Microsoft for example.
Not sure if I'm right but that's what I understand
