I played this back in middle school band as well! Back in 1997/1998. I was also in the percussion section, and would rotate between snare and bass. I still love this song so much. Brings back so many awesome memories.

The snares are not in time for most of crunch time. Its sounds like they are playing flams most of the time. I'm a percussionist
