Dogg Food raised me. The most underrated west coast album ever !!!
Original Funk tracks! Nothing in Hip-Hop has ever compared to it.
And dj quiks albums too. Don't forget Quik or Warren G
Facts. I still bump that "I dont like to dream about getting paid...I been dreaming too long". Always Motivation
Reality is still my favorite song
Lol dogg food isn't underrated. It went number one and went double platinum.
Kurupt is one of the real ones, always gives Suge his props 👏 and also people don't realize when Pac "Me against the World album dropped everything stopped unfortunately he was in prison to promote it properly but when he dropped ' All eyes on Me' he became the biggest rapper all over the world.
Yeah but if you think about it most people respect Kurupt, so the fact Kurupt has no hate for Suge doesnt say much. Most other people dont have a positive view of Suge, especially Daz lol
Kurupt & Napoleon will never let anyone disrespect Pac's name, and always gave props to Suge.
@@HumanHeart1 Nor will Tyson or Mickey Rourke
That me against the World album was number one in the country at the time.
Kurupt is an underrated lyrical legend
Underated by the powers that be but far as hip hop I believe Kurupt is a well respected MC, it's just that his height was over 25 years ago.
Reggie Jay Z Tupac and Biggie Andre from outkast Jada KURUPT Nas and then Em
Most lirical artist on death row fallow by lady of rage
Yup tru
Big facts
One of my favorite artist of all time. He has been on severval CDs that are considered Classic, and has some of the hardest verses on those tracks. Much love from T-Town AL.
This was a great interview , I loved the fact that you were actually a fan and had quality questions opposed to Vlad that just fishes for the negativity and Antagonizes his faults opposed to talking about his successes. Great work Kev
💯% i fuckin hate vlad ... but he somehow gets everyone i wanna hear from lol 😆
Great interview with Kurupt. I used to have to grab a dictionary to look up words Kurupt would use in his lyrics. One of the greatest lyricist of all time!!!
This is one of the best interviews I’ve seen kurupt do ever!! Salute to the kingpin 👊🏾
He did one couple weeks back on NoJumper it was a good interview prob better than this one Imo
He does good interviews and answers questions well
This dude is hyping up 50 over Tupac!? Come on really! Really! Really ! ! ! JUST FUCKING STUPID! I can't watch his bullshit anymore! I only watched was because of Kurupt and he even let him know PAC was a legend!
@@shanoemichael4439 Lol...that part...then I thought, they’re from 2 different worlds...AEOM didn’t resonate with him like it did with “us”....no harm no foul...Kurupt kept it gangsta, hip hop, 100, and all the way solid. Salute to the OG
@@dukkiboi people talk about Tupac every day there are podcast dedicated to him everyday! Not any of 50 or snoop. Snoop was cool. I can respect him liking snoop more! But 50 come he is garbage after dre stop producing him he went back to being what he is nobody! He wouldn't have a hit without dre! Tupac made hits with unknown producers!
Kurupt one of the greatest to ever do it easily my #1 lyricist on the west coast
its good to see a actual fan interview this person, no notes, just straight up asking good questions instead of the same recycled garbage
I always thought that Kurupt n Crooked I should’ve done a whole album together , that Kurupt n Quik was coo but one with Crooked I n Kurupt 🔥🔥🔥
"Everything stopped" is the hip hop peak. Well said
Kurupt is Drunk Again!!!
Streetz iz a Mutha is my favourite album. Loved it since day 1
the dogg pound are one of the most underrated duos of all time!
the interviewer was asking questions and didn't have an opinion until 2pac name was mentioned.. I am glad Kurupt got his point across
Thank for this interview . Kurupt is one of the sickest on the mic ever and I love hearing him tell old school stories.
Oz soundtrack Behind The Walls ft Nate Dogg. One of the Hardest, Lyrical Word Play Kurupt ever did next to New York New York
Kurupt is a legend. Thanks for all the great music and rhymes brother.
Streets is a Mutha, 1 of the best albums ever. Just listened last week again.
Put some respect on Pac name. He dropped 3 classics in a row. first double album. And if you was in the streets the Makaveli Tapes that KEPT COMING OUT
His first classic album(pre Death Row)is arguably his best album, depending on who you’re asking. So DEFINITELY put some respect on his name💯
Agree, Pac - AEOM can't be missed from the discussion. I would say he is equally recognizeable to Snoop if not more after his death but not definitely less. Good debate!
Great interview! Love that you’re a real
Fan and asked about when kurupt went back to death row in 02 and beefed with the dpg. No one ever brings that up!
Every time Kurupt say "Oh Yeah" it has me craccin up 😆
Great interview, this guy seems to care a lot about Hip-hop, asks good question a fan wants to know like the history and timeline, and the right balance of letting the guest speak plenty. I loved hearing how "Stranded on Death Row" was made for Kurupt, that vibe was fire. 'Rupt, EM, Crook my top 3 so cool that you dropped some Crook and EM in there. "Step Up" and "3 The Hard Way" was crazy. Still want to hear EM and Kurupt on a joint.
Top 5 in all hip hop ...west coast Love you homie ! Kurupt is really that voice for hip hop...no questions
Bootleg Kev dope interview 🙌
Respect kurupt is top 5 mc

Kurupt is a real lyricist , brother takes the craft serious
11:04 "Thank you.... Wow......Oh Yeah" got me rollin
Streets is a mutha = classic.
I still listen to it now.
I remember when I was working at my first job at the mall in 2005 I walked into the tower records store and saw Daz and kurupt had separate albums dissing each other I was so shocked when they got back cool Cali is active was a banger
I remember that time also . Bought against the grain in 05 then I believe cali.is active was 06 ??? If I remember correctly
Dogg Pound and Cypress Hill on the stoned raiders album was dangerous 🔥
What? I never heard this...

Kurupt, dj quik and Warren G forever underrated
Kurupt cool as hell we booked him and his crew for a show that wasn't properly promoted on our end so seeing how it didn't pan out they came to our lil ol hometown in Gainesville Ga. Hung out in the studio the next day and did a video with us ..solid on they part✊🏿💯
Kurupt young GOTTI!! Legend to the fullest Real HipHop

Brilliant Interview - Love Kurupt
Dope interview! Kurupt lyrical monster that don't get enough credit.
Worldwide no one is or will ever be bigger than 2pac.
Amazing MC. Kurupt has worked with so many great artists and producers. One question I've never heard anyone ask him was how was it like working with Dilla and Slum Village
And the one with q tip produced by hi tek keep it moving super fire
Dilla, Hi-Tek, Dre, Preemo, Pete Rock, Mo Bee, Daz, Quik, Organized Noize, Alchemist, Johnny J...... too many iconic producers to name
One of the most underrated artists /producer one of the best himself + The infamous DPGC ⭐️🏴🇬🇧Glasgow Firm EEF☝🏻👍🏻
Kurupt had really matured as a man and as an artist. Maturity looks good 👍🏾 on him, much success fam.
Kurupt the legendary
Sick Bro! Thanks Kurrupt & Bootleg DPG4LiFE 🔥👊🔥
From 30:00 onwards Thank you Kurupt for schooling this cat , I’m sorry he had to keep interrupting you
Kurupt was the 1st rapper to create his own category of weed: *Moon Rocks* | He is highly intelligent & well-spoken. He has truly been there & done that but is here today to talk about it !! #LivingLegend #SuperHero *Kurupt*
There were other people involved in creating that. It was named after him so he was the face. But he didnt actually create it.
@@caliking4542 lmmfao
My favorite artist on Death Row. Doggy Pound 4 Life is my favorite song.
Death Row was the best hip hop label of all time!!!!
True. Just think about what it could've become w out all the drama. If it was ran like a legitimate business. Sky's the limit !!!
Dont forget ruthless records

I feel like Kurupt had the most successful split from DR. I believe it was due to the fact, he still hollered out DR on KURUPTION, even though KURUTION was on Antra.
The first UA-cam video that I've listened to for an hour!!!! Usually 5 minutes, but an hour! It was interesting.
Dogg Food is a classic but Tha Streetz Iz A Mutha is something else... my favorite Kurupt album by far.
29:51 Pac -- everything stopped . “i know what u think “ 😂😂😂
Glad kurupt spoke facts
My favorite song is WELCOME HOME 🎧
Underrated
Banger pure LA..i think im from london thats how i imagine it anyway
Dogg Food, my Fav death Row release.
That was crazy but You didn’t like The Chronic ??
@@grandpahouse lol of course i did. Dogg Food imo was more original than the chronic n doggystyle as far as production.
@@StayViben damnn I cannot argue with your opinion lol
Yo Bootleg Kev, you've stepped your game up recently! You're having classic guests come on your show like Drakeo the Ruler, Kurupt, Millyz, Boosie, Belly, G Herbo, etc. ..it's like you backdoor No Jumper and they comin thru! Congrats on ya subscribers & views going up as well! Ble$$ing$
Kurupt a damn legend
I'm not much for west coast rap but Kurupt is easily a top lyricist. No question...
He the nicest out of The doggpound
He might be the but Snoop Dogg is a very great rapper and singer
@@precioushunt7097 I think snoop is super over rated. His name is bigger then his actual rap career in my opinion. But it's good right. To each your own. Snoop is still Hiphop and I live and breath it. So Godbless the Dog
I know a lot of the fans that believe every hip-hop conspiracy they hear about online will hate this because the way some of them tell it they tell it as if they were there and they say that Snoop Dogg always hated Tupac when the reality is the DPG , All of them were friends with Tupac before he even signed to Death Row, Suge wasn’t messing with 2Pac at all until they convinced him to get him out of jail and sign him. And they were cool all the way up until the very end and it wasn’t there anyone on the DPG side had any problems with Tupac. The interview that need 2pac mad when snoop said he was cool with Biggie didn’t happen a year before 2Pac got shot. It happened days before 2Pac got shot. Now snoop didn’t say “ F 2pac I’m with Biggie” He said he was cool with both of them and that he wanted to stay neutral. That’s it. And from that so many of these wanna be Internet gangsters have translated that into “Snoop hated 2pac”. Morons. Tupac wasn’t even on Death Row a full year before he got shot and killed. Snoops interview took place where he said he was cool with both of them, Tupac got mad, a few days later everything happened in Las Vegas where they jumped Baby Lane and later that night baby Lane killed him. I don’t know how people get all this bullshit out of a weeks worth of events.
Exactly.
No
I don't know, man. Either way sounds like some petty drama for adults to get caught up in and be invested in as a fan. Leave that shit to bitches and chicks.
Favorite MC, favourite interview as of now

They always mess up Kurupt interviews and cut him off... he can explain things more fully but you got to give him his time
Remember that song calling out names? There's a poster behind kurupt of BELLY. He said in that song "FU#* BELLY" LMFAO😅🤣😂🙃😆😄😁
I can't wait
@4:20 Kurt Tha Kingpin begins chopping it up!
great Qs Kev, and such passion too!!
I think you’d have to give it to Pac… when he died, he was still in the middle of his peak. They were still releasin’ singles from, “All Eyez On Me” Wasn’t even a Pac fan like that back in the day, but his star power was undeniable and unmatched
Kurupt a Beast A Legendary
Tha Kingpin Kurupt!!
