You showed that acceptance of your situation and deciding to work within its boundaries is the thing that saved your life. This is to me the most important aspect of survival. Good vid. New sub.

Thanks alot Shereen. It's a big reality of being a outdoor enthusiast. The bush requires respect and I let my guard down that day. It was a good wake up call to check myself. Thanks for tuning in . Finally got snow here woohoo. 🙌

Good video with important lifesaving info. Too many people think hiking the woods or the mountains is a walk in the park and are totally unprepared. But I dont for a moment buy you getting lost 500 yards from your house in familier territory😂. Makes for a good lead in to your video.

Brilliant David. Ur actions probably did save ur life. Happened once to me, alone w/ my tiny dog in a 10,000 acre forest. Followed setting sun to locate my car. Found it 15 miles away just before dark. Was skeert big time😳

Well hello there. 😊 It's such a vulnerable situation to endure. But very humbling in retrospect. But at the time it's pure fear. Glad you and pup made it out safe.

are you actually serious? where the heck do you live where that is a reality? and for F's sake why would you add to the problem? this statement is a bigger problem than you will ever truly understand huh?

Inspiring and motivating. Never even considered what I would or could do in this case. Could happen to anyone. Stay sharp, and don't just lie down and die! 🫡

It's a vulnerable situation for sure, and taught me alot about my limits.
