If English is one of your subjects in case of ACCA, No problem.
For Diploma in IFRS you need 2 years practical experience after graduation.

Hi sir, we do provide weekend live classes for working professionals. Diploma in IFRS is a good choice if you're a financial controller and your counterparts are aware of ACCA . It will give a slight value addition for sure. CFA is also a good choice for a investment bank but considering gap from your study and responsibilities your age might bring (family & kids) might be difficult to clear. Hope this helps. I afraid not. The reason why practical experience is required for this course is that you need to know practical application of Accounts. As Diploma in IFRS contains advance knowledge of this subject and without practical experience you won't be able to appreciate this course.

I have completed three and a half years of articlship and in confused for the reason that when i try register myself with acca there is an option to fill a experience certificate form but if articleship is considered as experience then how will i get sign and stamp from the chartered as I have moved to a different city and no more in touch with my previous principal.isnt the service completion letter enough as experience letter.please guide me

I have a concern regarding job experience.....i have done b.com and persuing distance MBA along with that i have a experience of 29 months with concentrix and british telecom..thought i was in voice process and it had nothing to do with finance...my question is, will this 29 months of experience on unskilled be considered? No, this experience will not be considered. Plus you will have difficulty understanding the course itself as you have been away from accounts for a long time.

Sir, the accaglobal website you mentioned has a varied number of IFRS ( e.g 9,3,5,16,15,17) which are the ones we are to pursue?
Not all are required. The acca website provides a list of IFRS or IAS which they call examinable document which a student is required to prepare.

ACCA qualification has not recognized for Accounting Jobs in SBI, IDBI , South Indian Bank etc !
A lot of companies don't take Indian CAs also for their accounting jobs. Deloitte Hyderabad recruits only ACCAs and many other such companies.
However, SBI, IDBI, hire consultants for IFRS compliance. These consultants are also mostly ACCAs.

Technically CA itself is equivalent to ACCA .
However there are minor differences in courses and ACCA is globally recognized.
Within India if you are to audit MNCs you require knowledge of IFRS for which Diploma in IFRS is a good to give you basic knowledge. ACCA gives much more detailed knowledge about IFRS when compared to Diploma in IFRS.
Further, if you want to work in UK Taxation then too pursuing ACCA gives you that opportunity.

I would suggest you to choose the same city as your exam center for both CA exam and IFRS exam.
However, if you are giving both groups then the dates might clash as IFRS is mostly in first week. In that case I think you should skip IFRS June exam and focus on CA papers .

may i ask the difference in the value of diploma in IFRS from ACCA and certification in IFRS from ACCA... i know certification is much easier as it contains MCQs ..but please but some light on the value for both. Thanks in advance.
Industry doesn't value certification on IFRS as it doesn't add any substantial value to current qualification. This may be due to the obvious reasons like ease of clearing, reduced curriculum, no detailed knowledge of the subject etc. The same reason why ACCA qualification is preferred over Diploma in IFRS.

You need to complete 2 years of articleship in order to be eligible for this course. In order to get the discount you need to register through a gold or silver partner but I guess your eligibility will take time for now.

The course is Diploma in IFRS, so if you're looking to switch to an accountancy role in a MNC this course is relevant to you.
If you want to continue as a credit manager, I don't think this course will help you.

It takes 2.5 years on an average to be ACCA if a student clears all papers in one go. We have seen a lot of our students achieving that goal.

If you have been working in accounts department in that MNC, yes Diploma in IFRS will definitely help in increasing your income. However, if your experience is in some other area this Diploma might not help so much.

Honestly, not at all. You're eligible for this course though.
ACCA is a better option for you. You will get 5 exemptions so only need to give remaining 8 papers which you can give one at a time. Shouldn't take you more than 2 years.

If You want to target Finance, CFA and after 2 years of work experience Executive MBA will be an Excellent option.
