Our base has two points of direct contact with the car: both the isofix and the load leg. Besides of that the base is 'floating' above the seat. Is this correct, or should the bottom of the base also make direct contact with the car seat?
Hi there! In order to better advise you, our team would like to ask for more details to verify this. Please just send us some photos via our contact form: www.cybex-online.com/en/row/contact_us.html. We will be happy to assist you.

Hi there! The Cloud T i-Size can be changed to a more lie-flat position outside the car. This car seat offers a longer legrest and a flatter lie-flat reclining angle to allow your child to lie comfortably in an ergonomic position. The reclined position of the Cloud G i-Size is comparable, however it is not the same. Our experts compared both models in one of our product presentations shows. In this video our experts will showcase their benefits in detail, helping you make the best decision: www.cybex-online.com/cybex-live
The online manual says my baby can lie flat while using the 3-point belt system. Yet the video only shows the sitting position. Which version is true? I bought this exact seat without the base, thinking my child can lie flat with the belt system only.
Hi there! Thanks for choosing CYBEX for your family. The reclining function in the Cloud G i-Size is available with and without a base. Please look at 3:53.
Hi there! No. The Cloud G i-Size is approved for use in aircraft without the base. You can find the manual/safety instructions for use on an aircraft in the download section of the Cloud G i-Size landing page on our website.
Hi there! There are a few enhanced features such as superior air circulation, recline function, and rotating mechanism (on Base G) offered by the Cloud G i-Size. You can actually compare them using our comparison tool next to the "add to cart" on our website, so it's possible to view them side-by-side too.
The Cloud G i-size is the newest addition to the Gold collection. The difference between the Cloud G i-size and the Cloud z2 i-size is that the Cloud G i-size offers an ergonomic lie-flat in and out of the car and certified for aircraft use. The Clout G i-size also has 14- position height adjustable headrest.
It would be more useful to show a video with a seat that has a more inclined bench. How do you safely place it if the seat isn't flat, how much space from the front seat and so on. Anyone can figure out how to attach isofix and extend the load leg, but you don't address the questions that people get when trying to install it in a real car, that won't have an infinite space in the back seat.
Our goal within the development of our in-car recline of Cloud G i-Size was to find an angle that is comfortable for the passenger but at the same time provides a high level of safety in case of an accident. As the car’s vehicle bench influences the angles further, we would always recommend a test installation. If you would like to check this out in more detail, we advise you to visit the store. In the manual of the Base G my car BMW 530 2019 is not listed. What does this mean?

Can the G also lie completely flat like the T can? I have the feeling that the T can be flatter than the G?
