Pir is really easy to figure out as it is different for every pressure wash and foam gun, step 1 - fill foam gun with straight water . Step 2 with a bucket that has a measuring line spray the water from the foam gun into the bucket when your foam guns bottle is empty of water (make sure you are watching the water level in the gun as soon as its empty stop) measure the amount of water in the bucket and times it by the pir , so example your bucket has 10.4 liters of water in it and the chemicals are a 2% pir you times it 10.4 x 0.02 and you get .2 liters .
Unfortunately, it was darker on one side, so it was a bit more difficult to see the dirt as well as the other side. It was pretty even on both sides, other than the road gunk, which was taken into consideration for the test.
Ive watched goodness knows how many video's on calculating PIR and the conclusion I've arrived at is that 100ml diluted to 1 litre is as near as damn it 1%.... The odd few mls either way will make no difference..... The other conclusion is that both are excellent products with touchless possibly being a netter option for winter grime removal and the original for summer time use.
guys, my wash machine(Karcher Professional HD 5/12 Cx) is at 19.4L of water with (MTM Hydro PF22.2 Foam Lance )... so Using touch less at 4% I need 760ML of product... insane amount of product if U ask me.
Hello from the UK ! You can definitely use at 5% from a pump sprayer. For that size vehicle, you’ll probably need about 5 litres, but that would use 250ml of product, rather than the 500 +. The cleaning effect is just as good, the only negative is that in warmer conditions it will dry quicker, but as it dries you can always just spray a bit more on, to increase the dwell time. It’s also worth experimenting with the PIR, as 2-3 % maybe all that you need. Both are top products, happy experimenting !
@@neatelitedetailing you can try using a pump sprayer and it works just as well as using a foam cannon but like the previous comment stated it perfectly. Dwell time is an issue with hotter days. I just use ik foam sprayer 4%. Less product because you’re not having to do the PIR ratio which is typically twice as more or little over.
Great video! My findings are pretty similar and I find that touchless works a bit better but both do very well. Keep up the great work!!
Thank you! I really appreciate it! Agreed that they both work very well!!

Dope video. Love the music. Its very late 80s porn-ish sounding.
Glad you like it
For the test just use a white terrycloth and wipe each side this will show there is a difference

Wow! That is a lot!!
About $10 for a full SUV pre wash?? ..... wow !!
I'm surprised how much product you used. I thought you could use a lot less.
I thought the same thing. Their recommended PIR requires a lot of product for sure! At the max. 5% PIR, this becomes an expensive pre-wash.
Try pre rinsing in a sprayer only
Are you suggesting that I try this or is that what you do?

Both sides had completely different levels of dirt, not really a fair comparison .
Far too much product when using Touchless... max 4% ( around 1 to 4 dilution
4% pir is a calculated number, and the amount of product in the foam cannon represents that. Thank you for your comment.
