I have met him 3 times and even when exhausted after a competition he was such a gentleman. Nice to have my boys with me during that competition to see how real men behave!

Hixxy have you heard of Calibrex 2. It’s clocks the speed of your reps. On deload weeks or with speed training I imagine that it would be a great tool to have to look at other metrics like an
Increase in speed at lighter loads which would ultimately equate to an increase in strength.
And in regards to a question that you posted about developing gangrene from shredding your shins during deadlift…
The likelihood is basically ZERO. Gangrene doesn’t only involve the introduction of bacteria. For gangrene to develop you have to also develop ischemia (reduction in blood supply) which could potentially occur if the inflammation in a wound was so severe that it compromised the blood supply. Very unlikely with superficial wounds from deadlifting. My explanation is not an opinion BTW, i am a REAL PCP. Not a doctor google! 😂

@@TheHixxy1985 Yes it did. It's just crazy how people of your strength level call a weight like 300kg a "deload" while mere mortals like myself can barely pull half that 😁
