Legolambs is the world's number one source for internet musicals of both classic and modern cinema. Tune in for everything from Conan: The Barbarian to John Carpenter's The Thing to The Help. You won't find the best musicals of the 21st century on Broadway, because they're all right here. Actually, you'll find one of them Off Broadway, because we wrote Silence! The Musical.
Music, lyrics and video editing by Jon Kaplan and Al Kaplan (Conan the Barbarian: The Musical, Silence! The Musical).
Hans Gruber performs "So, Mr. Mystery Guest" from Die Hard: The Musical.
Contains homages to Michael Kamen's Die Hard and James Horner's Aliens.
Hans performed by Al Kaplan.
It's not officially Christmas until Hans Gruber falls off of the Nokitomi Tower!
Perfect.
Almost forgot this year, 2023
He's really not dead. He's sitting on that beach earning 20%. 😢
I've never laughed so hard at someone saying "I shot a kid."
Captain Bud Sturguess.... i sang along! 😰
What I love is the fact that the two guys who make this are called John and Al, like McClane and Sergeant Powell
Will Croot nice I never noticed that
Its such a warm and fuzzy moment when the cop gets over his hang up about shooting people.
“I can kill again! You’ve given me a reason to live!”
Shamelessly stolen from Hot Shots: Part Deux!
Since it's clear you can do a great Rickman impression, what about Snape: The Musical?
These guys are so good.
I think they pay voice actors.
Note: I know this 8 years later.
😝
RIP and Respect to the Great Actor, Director, and Singer (He sang very well in Sweeny Todd): Alan Rickman (1946-2016).
Oh, man. I never knew how much I wanted to hear Hans Gruber's nasally scream as he plummets from the tower. Thank you.
This is literally one of the best things on UA-cam.
oh my god.. why am I just discovering Jon and Al's musicals??! where have I been? It's like finding the Internet all over again.. so wonderful! LOL
My husband and I just discovered the Jon and Al musicals two days ago and cannot understand where they've been all our lives!! They're unbelievable!! We have never laughed so hard. And the work and talent involved in creating these witty, brilliant musicals is simply awesome.
7 years later, this is still my favorite holiday song. I would have expect this video to blow up to million views a while ago. This is so underrated.
Yeah
I'm amazed by the Rickman impersonation... so subtle and spot-on. BRAVA!
John McClane: "Go fuck yourself, Hans!" xD
Love the "I shot a kid" ending too!
I wish I could go back to the magical moment I first watched this !!
+Abbas Zaidi I was in the movie theatre when they blew the Roof. I jumped up ,I was so excited and yelled "OOOOh". Everyone in the theatre turned around to look at me. Didn't even realize that I was standing up. Best Bruce Willis movie , ever. Hands down.
You were in the theatre?? Bravo sir! I was only 13 years old when it came out. Watched it on VHS and cue a tirade of f words!!
"SHOOT THE GLASS!"
For me that was today
+Connor Smith or do you mean this video and not the movie?
Will he be remembered? *Always*
I can't stop watching this.
"Ladies an Gentlemeeeen, Ladies and Gentlemeeeen" hahahaha
My buddy showed me the Total Recall musical, and I laughed my ass. I can sing the whole damn thing off by heart now, gets on my girls nerves, so I sing it to her or play it all loud as hell when we are on a road trip. Yep, gonna be seperated here any minute because of that musical. Thanks Legolambs for doing what you do.
"There will not be a four" and "We must have the detonators" hahaha, this is friggin great =P
they should make one that starts with him humming Beethoven's 9th in the elevator.
Instead of "Ode to Joy" (Ode an die Freude)??
Bonus points for incorporating Michael Kame's score and even james Horner's temp track from Aliens to the musical.
Diehard was revolutionary! Just to think it was the first movie sequel to a tv show! And it was interesting how they made the dad from family matters change his name after he shoots irkle.
Was also Alan Rickman's first movie.
Lol
every so often i have to revisit these works of art
For those who complain about the quality of the voice imitations, I don't really understand what the problem is. To me its the goofiness of the entire piece that makes it enjoyable for me and the complete butchering of character voices adds hilarity. Ripleys voice in their Aliens musical for example, so bad yet so good. Haha keep these coming guys, I love every single one. :)
How can anyone give any of Jon and Al's amazing musical parody's a thumbs-down? They are all brilliant!!
2:12 EEEYRRRR! EEEYRR! EEEYYRR!
"I killed a kid"
...do you think it was Steve Urkel?
We can dream, can't we?
Who else?
LMFAO!
@Martha Sviniard LOL!
@Martha Sviniard Got any cheese?
You gotta do Sean Bean the musical, I wonder what he has to say about dying all the time on every movie/tv show hes in?
"This is Christmas music man!"
Big dummy thanks Argyle
Alan Rickman's audition tape for Sweeney Todd
This should have 20 million views.
Could we get more die hard musicals? Lol
Oh god, that ending.
It was beautiful
Truly riveting. It was so fraught with tension and drama. Culminating in a resolution to which I found myself on the edge of my seat.
(Note to self: Look into finding a bigger chair.)
Bloody Hell Jon and Al are actually the best. I have no idea why they aren't more popular than they are.
Because it's anit Christmas till Hans falls off the building! Merry Christmas 2020!!
RIP Alan Rickman
RIP in peace Hans Gruber :'(
Ladies and gentlemen... and I thought I was watching Sweeney Todd with the lecherous judge 's low voice Singing about the ladies with his barber...
Needless to say this voice reproducton is perfect.Hats off Jon and Al.
I can't believe I'm just seeing this now 🤣 this is awesome
Alan was born with that voice, no one is to blame....enjoyed every minute!
The "I shot a kid' ending xD
Yes. That is my favourite part.
If you thought Schindler's List was the raciest, you should have seen the Lord of the Rings video we made that UA-cam took down!
Still watching this 2020!
10 times so far
You guys are amazing. Great choice of flicks!
Such an elegant Mr. mystery guest. Worthy of Broadway.
"Ladies and Gentlemen..." So damn good!!! This is on point with Silence... Well done.
I love how he even sang his falling death 😅
Wow. The laughter hits you late.

Here we are, coming up to 9 years and I still find myself occasionally saying "Ladies and gentlemmmmmen, ladies and gentlemmmmmmen." outloud.
When die hard was good
Yes.When die hard was memorable.
EmpireLS56KW wait i just remembered. it was a okay die hard movie.. though... it was left to be desired. i mean the son was to much of a asshole to his dad. The dad wanted to help.
What do you mean? All 4 movies are amazing!
***** nah, mate. First and third were amazing. Others were meh action flicks.
***** nah mate. All four were great.

This is criminally underrated
Another stellar musical!
SOLID GOLD WORK AS ALWAYS!!!
This is so perfect 🤣
By Grabthar's Hammer, what a song!
Keep your Hogwarts and Die Hard movies...
Alan Rickman will _always_ be Sir Alexander Dane to me! =)
"hans, boobie, I'm your white knight!"
It ended and I saw over half a min remaining... and then BAM! Vel Johnson's part is far and away a masterpiece!
I think that verse after the credits is one of the best things you have ever done.
Did Alan really sing this song? It kinda hard for me to tell if it's his voice or someone else's.
Gene Belcher would be proud.
Rest in peace, Alan!
Thank you for this.
"I shot a kiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiddddddddddddddddddddddd!!"
This is hilarious. Brilliant stuff. I'd like to see a Snape one too.
I cant believe I didn't know this existed. My favorite Die Hard related musical to this point was the one from Bob's Burger: Work Hard or Die Trying, Girl.
How do you all not have a million subscribers?
The whole Die Hard movies would be EPIC.
That finale was unexpected in the best of ways.

That last scene nails the essence of Musical.

Die Hard 3 the musical.
You guys are the best! Maybe one from McClane's POV? Keep up the amazing work!
I like Hans Gruber going "It's Christmas!" in a shrill voice. XD
I really hope Gladiator: The Musical is somewhere on your agenda...
RIP alan Rickman.
