My wife and I bought this IKEA mirror years ago, but ever since we bought our house it's just been sitting in the closet. I've been wanting to use it in a build for awhile now, and finally got the chance to do it! I initially wasn't too thrilled by the design of this in Sketchup, but this console goes into a nook in our hallway, so I was limited by the space. But I think in the end, the actual product came out alright. Let me know what you think!

Can I leave a referential comment? Always enjoy the craftsmanship in both your projects and in your videos. Proud to have you in the mere mortals community!
Thank you! Your referential comments are most welcome :)
Absolutely love the angles of the whole piece. Very well thought out use of a spare mirror. Looking forward to more videos.
Thank you!
I did some referential measurements and this is clean af. Nicely done, Alex.
Thanks Nick! Really appreciate it!
Great video as always.
I would definitely like to see a shot of the entire finished piece at the end of the video.
Thanks for the suggestion!
Fantastic build and I'm so jealous of your tools 😍
Thanks!
I love your creative clamping setups. Great video as always!
That was definitely part of the challenge!
@@BevelishCreations What are those aluminum cauls you were using?
StogeP it’s linked in the descriptions
Man! Your clamping game is next level! Great build and great video!👍
Haha thanks!
Another great looking build. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for checking it out
I know you were iffy on the design at first in Sketchup, but I really like how the design came out! Your clamping game alone is next level! Also, the way you removed the extra material from the cleat was so smart...I probably would have tried to chisel it or saw it off and definitely wouldn't have achieved such perfect results. Great video and build as always Alex!
Thanks man! Yeah I think it’s one of those things that I start liking more and more as I look at it more. Plus...anything looks good with walnut 😂
You have become one of my favorite UA-camrs and definitely my favorite woodworking UA-camrs. The quality of everything you do is amazing. Keep it up!
Thank you so much! That means a lot!
Amazing work! Way to nail all those angles to get it to fit together so nicely!
Thank you! :D
Love the angles!! Really cool build
Thanks David!
Deadpool!!! Love it!
😂
"fourth wall break inside a fourth wall break... that's like 16 walls!"
As always awesome project, inspiring me to get into my shop awesome video!
Incredible work! You showed up in my recommendations (presumably because of Chris Salomone). I'd definitely say, your editing and design has evolved a lot since you started the channel. I love your editing and camerawork, and I will say - your videos feel a bit less like a DIY tutorial and more like a chill session watching a skilled craftsman just explain and do something he's really good at :)
Thanks for checking it out! Yeah I’m trying to head more toward just talking and explaining why I’m doing what I’m doing
I have to admit I love the videos and good job explaining everything. Thanks and keep up the good work.
Thanks!
Powerful design and craft.
Thank you!
Great Video as always, and as someone who does filmmaking as a job I'm really impressed by your camera work and editing, your videos are always really well made.
Thank you so much!
Awesome video. The final product is beautiful. The music kinda reminds me of wu-tang. I love it. 😄
Thanks!
First video of yours I've seen. I was very impressed. Now a new subscriber lol

Dude. I’m super jealous of your shop/set up!
Brian Byrne organization needs some work haha
absolutely love your videos and projects! keep it up!
Thanks and I will! :)
Stunning piece. I'm really glad I found your channel. Subbed. (You were listed in MWA Woodworks channels page)
Oh cool! I didn’t know I was listed there 😎
bevelish, make a "must have woodworking tools" ;-) Hand and machine tools.
You could also try a challenge where you only use common tools, no fancy joinery, no dado stack.
I actually built a coffee table with just a $20 dowel jig from Rockler lol. There weren’t any fancy joinery other than just cutting dados with a router
nice work man !
Thank you!
@@BevelishCreations Your videos are really good and invested
DIYFixMan glad you like it :)
All those referential measurements :D
Love your work!
Thank you!
Very cool project!
Thanks!
Looks great, would love to have one in my place.
Thanks!
Nice one. I like the built.
Thank you! Glad you liked it :)
Great video, also enjoying your stuff on Shapr3D! just wondered where those clamping aids for mitres are from?
I got them from Rockler…I think they’re the only ones who sell them. I forgot what they’re called though, I’m sorry :(
You make some beautiful “stuff” Alex!
Thanks a lot Charles :)
Very very nice, as always! What kind of finish do you use on your projects?
I use “Simple Finish”
Cool design.
Thanks!
I love your work. New subscriber!
Thank you!
Another great video. When is Woodpecker Tools going to finally sponsor you?! 😁
Hahaha one can only wish!
That's a nice bevelish creation;)
Haha yesss but no bevels :(
Great job!
Thanks!
Love the design! Where did you get those clamp helpers to help clamp any angle? That's a great idea to have around the shop.
I put a link to it in the descriptions
@@BevelishCreations Oh thanks, skipped right over "Clamping Jig" and looked at the others :)
Can you do a sketch up tutorial for making plans and how to be organize 😍
Hey what are those round aluminum miter clamps you are using called? They look like they work great!
There’s a link to it in the descriptions :) and yes they work great for clamping any odd angles
Very nice work
Thanks!
Good job sir. Love the idea. What app did you use for the Sketch file to come on the video? Thanks
I used Sketchup
@@BevelishCreations Thank you! Was the Sketchup file PNG? I'm trying to improve my video editing skill.
No you can actually make animations inside of Sketchup using a plugin. I don’t remember what it’s called, but you can Google “Sketchup animation plugin”
@@BevelishCreations thank you so much!
@@BevelishCreations Hello sir. Sorry for bothering you. I wanted to ask you one more question. I got the animation part down. I wanted to know what step you took to have the Sketchup animation flood on your screen. Plz.
Very beautiful
Thanks
Good work ✨ ✨ 👍
Thank you!

I knew i forgot something !
I think you should have called this channel "The Walnut Woodworker"
Haha missed opportunity
