I remember my mom threatened to send me there (I wasn't doing 1 percent of what these kids were doing, just sneaking candy from her) and now that I'm a teen, I told her how it was absolutely crazy how parents think scaring children would make them behave, it instead would give them trauma, PTSD and hate their parents, mom agreed and we never talked about this show again 😂

Scared straight is honestly the worst show ever. The majority of the kids that are on that show were born to parents who weren't good examples to begin with, had a rough life, and then got labeled as "troubled" by parents who weren't even good at parenting in the first place, and just wanted a way to "shut the kids up." 😭 How you expect a kid to benefit from being in a dank prison with preds and weirdos?

Oh yeah Toby was on his shit all episode the first time he was on BSS. The last update I seen on some of the kids that were on the show bro still was getting in trouble and got into drugs I might have to look again and see if he turned it around but that’s what I remember.

Thank god that I wasn't in this situation, I was bullied and I did punched a boy while in grade school in retaliation to protect my sister but I quickly apologized (my dad abuse my mother) till they divorced. My mother made sure that I wouldn't turn out like him, I do have his temper so writing in journal and therapy I still have anger issues but I cry and scream into a pillow to let and talk more to let it all out.

I live in Brooklyn New York growing up and I can tell you and play in English is not just the environment is the choices that you make because where I grew up there were people stealing people doing robberies smoking weed selling weed and all of those types of things trying to do prostitution but I stayed away from that and focused on school hanging with good friends and a lot of different activities that my parents gave me or for myself and I had no interest in any of those type of things whether it was being in a gang or doing drugs or selling drugs and at the end of the day it comes down to choices is the choice that you meant to be going down those steps of Road whether it is the situation with your parents or yourself you have to make choices because if you don't make the right choice it can end up ruining your life in more ways than one
