It can start right from 1st month of life and can persist till 1st few years.
Most of occasions its disappears by self after few months.
It doesn't need any investigation.
In atypical and doubtful cases EEG can be planned to rule out myoclonic epilepsy.
Abnormally reported EEG needs to be reconfirmed by pediatric neurologist as it doesn't need any medication.
