honestly i love the boy bag way more than the classic flap, just because it fits my style way more. I love how modern and edgy it is. the classic flap is more girly

u are very detailed and true reviewer. i agree with all you said. i just purchased my first le boy spring/summer collection 2018 black calf skin in ruthenium hardware. and they are very comfortable.

Hi Minnie, that was a great review, I saw the video of you presenting the Boy bag, and hoped it would become a fast favorite after the disappointment with the LV bag that had to be returned.. I'm really happy that this bag is a keeper for you.. On a side note, I did buy a couple of the Dior Crème de Rose lip balms, but although Sephora had some stock, it took 20 minutes for an SA at another big department store to find her last one in stock, with no word when more would arrive. I really should have bought more, but I'm unsure of the shelf life of such products. I'm hoping it's just a redesign of packaging... Much love and big hugz💐🌹💐🌹💐🌹xxxxxxxx

Hi Minnie! Love your review😊 , I hear you about how inconvenient it is for the leather strap going under the metal loop, but I'm happy to report that my strap hasn't had any wear. I've owned my boy for almost two years now, I would worry about it too much. Plus my bag is in lambskin, yours is more durable. Enjoy your beauty

another way to wear the bag is to place the leather strap under the bottom and wear only the chain on your shoulders. Its also one of my favorite bags

I liked the review however you didn't touch on the wear you see on the bag or what to expect as far as wear goes. For instance I see wrinkling at the top left. Is that from opening the flap or from carrying the bag? Thanks! Also I have heard someone mention that they can smell the metal after time. Is that just with gold chain chanel? Or is that with any chain?
Cindy Ibarra Thanks! The wrinkling is from the Flap and since the calfskin leather is somewhat distressed, the leather on the quilts will not be as perfect as caviar or lambskin :) I haven't noticed any smell on the chain so far :) Thank you for watching xoxoxo

Hey, really love this bag with the large quilting, aged calfskin and the special stitching. I just got the same bag in old medium size yesterday, i really love it, it's my first Chanel bag! :) I haven't used it yet though, i was wondering about the wear and tear. Have you noticed any more wrinkling on the quilts the more you use it? Do you think the leather will hold its shape as well as lambskin and caviar? And also, i was worried that some dust might easily get stuck between the stitches, have you noticed this as well? Hope the stitches or the leather won't get damaged with time as i really do love the bag!! Xoxo from france
