And it's cheaper to hire Philipinos to be the main character than hire Singaporean. It makes financial sense to them too

Yeah, absolutely agree. Perhaps he could bring his forklift skills back to Phillipines or reapplying for working permission visa in Singapore. He has an option afterwards to his story. I feel sorry for him.

I hate employment agencies preying on SG locals and foreign hopefuls by ripping them off their money and not delivering their promise of a job offer. Too many highly questionable "additional fees" on top of the initial fee given for you to be recorded in their company data
If they exercise thier illegal activities in neighbourhood country sure make loads of money as those countries are not professional enough

Now a days, I seen alot of people walking with their eyes on their phone while walking even while crossing the road. There are also a lots of drivers who drive at 45khm on a 60khm road. There are also a lot of driver who keep their car distance from the car infront about 1 to 1 and a half car distance at a traffice light junction, and when traffic light turn green , they take their own sweet time to take off thinking that it their grand father road. Inmagine if you are the 10 cars on the line, it will become 22 cars lenght away from the traffic light. And when traffic light turn green, by the time you reach the traffic light, it already turn red again. There are also a lot of perdestrian, some on bycycle just dash out of the perdestrain crossing thinking they have the right of way without looking or checking.
