But additional mOvEmEnT tECh is not needed in a game where you can complete a capture mission in under 20 seconds and an exterminate in under a minute. If you feel its still too slow, then Warframe might not be for you.
Good to know. The fastest way to reach extraction though is to not get stuck on the jagged tilesets lol. If you get that down then you will be the fastest already.
everzone with A LITTLE peace of IQ would know to do this and be aware from start pretty much, while most ppl can agree, most of U that ACTUALLY plays WF cant.. Sad , real sad, insted of runnin around pressing things, maybe work out and find out what mechanics are hidden, like this SIMPLEST one.
oh my god I found this like a year ago, I'm so glad someone made a video on it!! I originally found it with revenants Reave ability. With just one speed and parkour velocity just jump to animation cancel reave and you keep the velocity for a pretty good distance. You can also do it with the Archwing, In the open world areas if you melee while dashing you can animation cancel the blink. It will usually sends you forward with some velocity if you cancel late. But if you cancel early it sometimes sends you forward and down at an angle which yields more speed but if you aim it a bit you can us e the downward velocity to you advantage. This doesn't feel muuuch faster but it's a lot more fun than just normal archwing flying I found the operator void sling cancel a few weeks before I had another burn out for the game and when I came back I tried to recreate it and was having some problems and gave up bc I thought they patched it or something. I'm glad they didn't! and thanks for assuring me it's still in the game!! reaaaaly hoping they dont patching these methods of traversal, its so much fun T^T
nice one! another neat trick is to melee the ground and roll before the animation plays, makes you descend & travel a lot faster than gravity / jumping

That orb is terrifying now, aesthetically atleast. The closest I got to this was Xakus's 4th ability. When you slam at a far angle and use it just before they hit the ground. That momentum will be cancelled in the animation and even after the animation finishes
okay I figured out how to void sling cancel on the ground: be operator (grounded duh) > transference > scroll wheel/spam jump (closer to the end of the transfer)
You can press melee instead of Transference to switch out of operator too Just dont aim down at all to avoid slam attacks fi you're not high up enough for the added slam momentum
Ooh! I’d been doing this with Bloodletting, Firewalker, Shroud of Dynar, and Preserving Shell because they have jumps built-in, but I’ll have to try and make this work with other abilities!
Holy fuck, its back? You used to be able to do something like this in Melee 2.0 - if your attack speed was fast enough on, say, Iron Phoenix, the autocombo dash wpuld send you flying. Spaghetti code - cut some out and the strands still remain.
This is some great stuff! Reminds me of the old days of coptering! I will say the void dash cancel is pretty annoying to pull off, still can't consistently do it.
@@prollyso-yeon211 Yeah, remember: Coptering was way faster than modern Bullet Jump. The Parkour system is just more fluid now. This feels way more like an exploit, and we already have an intended long range forward dash. Void Sling. This breaks Void Sling to be even stronger.

If you whip around backwards fast enough you might be able to fly backwards too. I think your aim point and movement keys have to change too. I’ve done this tech on accident (both forward and backward somehow) and I was trying to find the source for a while, and it looks like you beat me to the punch long before I even got started lol.

So if you hold (D) -> Space, you’ll go right and the same with (A) and (S). I have known about this for almost a year without making it public because I didn’t want it to get patched.

I saw someone do the void sling cancel on r/warframe in simulacrum but they didnt jump to start, they did it falling mid air. Nice to see its possible like this, makes it wayy more useful also, what specific type of casting animation do you need to get the melee dash cancel? does it need to be a full body animation or can it be 1 or 2 handed, upper body?
@@ovencake523 You just need a bit of forward movement like for example blind justice or spinning needle. But gleaming talon and sovereign outcast don’t work. If you try the (W+ Right Click)+E in game you’ll see what works and doesn’t.

i got the melee dash down , but whenever i dash with operator i cannot swap back till operator reappears from dash and its too late , is it just a crazy timing or is there something im missing?
@@vuisteyy When you voided dash there is a small light that indicates where you are going. You have to switch when you see that light or even slightly before that.
Played around with macros for a bit and looks like space (dash) and 5 (transference) have to be pressed one after another in the same frame? I got it working quite consistently using this: 5↓ / 2ms delay / Space↓ / 300ms delay / 5↑ / space↑ It works best while you are high up midair. Otherwise transferring to warframe will pull you back onto the ground stopping you.
@@SNDKKKK Yes if you’re on the ground and try to do the void dash cancel you’ll only slide a bit on the ground(depending on frame friction). The timing isn’t too hard so I recommend learning it without the macro, you’ll get a lot more flexibility that way. You can also use a directional key during the void dash to go in that direction, so if you hold D before pressing space you’ll go right.
it is directly fps dependent so having your game at 240 fps means you have a 1000/240 = 4.167 millisecond window to press both buttons, 120 -> 8.3 ms. I found this out because I was in the simulacrum wondering why i could do the tech manually but not with a macro and then I looked at my fps, which was ~650 which means I had a 1.53 ms window which is funny.
It started as a patchwotk and it will end as one. Also does this need to do the attack on ground then jump and cast? I like the momentum buildup with canceling reave mid air but this is even faster.
I assume these movement techniques requires skill, moves which most people would probably even ignore and just do it the classic way, so I don't see a reason why DE would touch it.
Emotes stop your momentum in air and because your using it after the jump it wont work. What does work is, if you just jump after the dash with the same timing as usual (you won't get nearly as far though.)
Oh it 100% works just have to double tap emote but if thats too hard for most ppl rolling is the same thing but way easier and ill be refining the emote cancel later
@@Harkovff yeah 1 emote stops all movement from everything when i got it to work i used a macro for testing purposes and it only worked .01th of a second between emote uses too fast and the emote would eat the melee attacks speed, too slow and it wouldnt cancel the attack to send you flying. If you dont want to use macros then the rolling version is WAY easier im just testing emotes because it doesnt lock you in the roll animation. For the roll version i believe you need to weapon swap once then jump and roll in quick succession to make it work unless you find a way with out weapon swap i think thats everything i know on the topic of this type of movement great video btw cant wait to see more!

There's also a way to trigger plunging attacks horizontally, but so far I could only trigger it on accident.

This is similar to the using speed buff on zipline, right? Makes you go zoooom after you jump off it.
