My wife has stage 4 colon cancer that has spread to her liver. Her courageous battle with this terrible disease is just nothing short of heroic. She was given a year and she's heading now on three years. It's been a long road but our love and faith gets us through. We both send our heartfelt prayers to you and your family. You're not alone. :) Thank you for sharing your story with us.
I was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in 1999. It caused kidney failure, that's how it was diagnosed, searching for the cause of the kidney failure. I was told I had a Life expectancy of 5-7 years. The transplant didn't work, so they tried massive doses of thalidomide for almost a year. That did work. But my kidneys were already gone and I was on dialysis for 9 years, then my son gave me a kidney. I can't say I'm back to normal but I'm still here. All the chemo and dialysis and immune suppressing drugs caused other problems, but that's okay, they are easily handled. My oncologist says he's impressed every time I have blood work done. Any way,no one should ever give up hope.
Anna, I did have some kidney damage too but not anything like what you have been through. I am so glad that you are still here with us! I know how difficult it is to deal with day to day and I think you are my hero to have endured this disease thus far for so long. I will pray that you have many more years with us and that no more symptoms come up. You've been through enough! Thanks for encouraging us to never give up hope!! Many blessings to you!
Rodney, I am so sorry to hear that your wife has had to struggle with cancer. But I am so glad that she is still here with us!! I will send prayers your way too! I look forward to the day when Cancer is no more. It probably won't be in my generation but I hope with all my heart that it happens in my daughter's generation because Cancer is on the rise and something desperately has to be done soon. Many blessings to you both!
I had to trim three minutes off of this video so I hope it still made sense. Thanks so much for continuing to subscribe and check in on me!! Gina, I still watch your videos and love them too! Freakygeektwo, I definitely need to take a picture of Scooby in my dragon tennis shoes!

I had an auto SCT too! Feb 27 is my rebirthday. You look great! I have a raised spot too from where they took my catheter out. LOL at the "third nipple" :)
Thanks! You look great too! Mine was the end of June so you're ahead of me by about four months. Your video inspired me to buy some curl creme today since I've got those crazy chemo curls that are totally insane. Looks like they're gonna be sticking around for awhile yet. Thanks for watching my video. I'm subscribed to your channel too. Best of luck to you!!! :)

Curl creme definitely helps! My curls have loosened around my face but the back is still pretty crazy!!
