- Peter tackles some winter jobs, preparing a batch of fire wood and chopping fire wood kindling. Peter then deals with roof repairs to the eaves tiles (edge tiles) on the boot room, which had unfortunately become disconnected.

It’s the last day of the year already in Australia. I’m on holiday in the Victorian High Country where people are frantically running to the shops to buy chooks, meats and salads for their barbecues tonight. It’s summertime here so the festivities are all outdoors.
To both yourself, Miss Anna and all your viewers around the world, keep warm and cosy if you live up in the north and safe if you live in the south of the world, I’m hoping you all have a prosperous and happy new year in 2024.

Love this channel. Great job on the roof. You are so right, chopping wood for fuel is a never ending process. However heating oil here is between $3.30 and $3.70 per gallon so keep the home fires burning!
