- Welcome to our little Zone 5 homestead! My name is Ciearra and I love to grow plants. My mission is to be able to grow and give away food and plants. As we learn more our homestead expands from more garden beds, raised beds, chickens and Vermicomposting. I sure wish I could afford a new coop for my babies that will be here in May. That way I wouldn’t have to worry about any predators getting into the coop. 🌷💚🙃
What about a used coop? You may be able to find one for a decent price nearby. Yay for new chickies!!!

As long as I take good care of it. So protecting it from extreme weather.
How has this held up? Thinking of getting it for a temporary run to separate chickens when needed.
Hi! It's held up really well so far. I only use it as a temporary home for chickens that I want to transition into my flock. When I'm done I store it in the garage. It's still great!
A new coop, I am confused Hmmmmmzzzzz You don't like NESTERA anymore?
I still love my Nestera so much! This is a temporary coop for the silkies to get acclimated to being outside and with the big girls. We just took this little coop out yesterday and the babies are in the Nestera coop now 💚💚💚
