These judges are so Incredible and than Mr. Lionel Richie has the “best mentee”. Alejandro is a “Super star” so everyone needs to watch this amazing singer on this show to see the reason , why he’s VIRAL ...WOW it’s going to hit everyone so hard...if he hasn’t been scooped up already by a producer!!! He’s a musical GENIUS...I’m avidly watching just to catch a glimpse of his Talent... He’s doubly blessed by Almighty HIMSELF 🤔🔑🎶🎤👍💕🌟

Even full-on facelifts cannot hide a few telltale signs of age (ie, the neck area and the hands), and he shows absolutely no signs of his current age. To me he looks just as youthful as he did in his music videos of the late 70s/early 80s.

I haven't watched Idol in many years, but this mix of judges is awesome and the talent this year is off the charts. Sometimes just being seen is enough in this age of UA-cam stars. They show clips of past stars, but don't forget Jennifer Hudson was booted early, she only finished 7th. Which I still attribute to the fact that the midwest was having horrible storms and power outages and no one in the Chicago area could vote that night.
This is the difference: these judges are also artists. They completely understand the AI hopefuls from a performer's point of view, which is something that a "producer-only" can't do. Simon would have likely been dismissive of Alejandro ( I can just hear him always saying "It's a SINGING competition!") and not recognize the beauty of his more subtle vocal style. American Idol is no longer just a "singing competition". It has evolved into an artist's competition, and it will be all the better for it.

I think that Luke Bryan humiliated a young Cowboy by talking about the holes in his boots and making him show them to the camera....And Then giving the boy his own boots on camera!! He could have done that privately!!! 💔😢😡

Let's see if these judges can be fair and put Alejandro through.
