This, is lungfish. This fish is very unique, because when the dry season and drought arrive, this fish will bury itself on land.
Imagine a fish that can walk on a dried-up riverbed, dig a hole in the mud, and hibernate for months until the rainy season arrives.
During the dry summer, they create space for themselves, thanks to the fluid they secrete from their skin and fall asleep in the summer.
They are able to do this because these fish have the uncanny ability to breathe on land using their lungs.
