Powerful and controlled so seamlessly. It's always awesome as an singer of opera myself to hear the one and only Pavarotti bring the emotion to life through his unmatched singing.🎯🎵🎶🎭💗🌅 Stay safe everyone!
The first time I heard Pavarotti sing was when I saw this concert- it was the first time I felt I understood music - the honesty and yearning in his voice told me I am not alone. God rest Luciano
The best rendition of this piece that i ever heard in my life....simply breathtaking. Thank you Pavarotti. A single tear came out of my eye when i listened to this song.
Even he is surprised when he listens to it again and says, 'I was a good singer, right?' It's in his documentary towards the end, as he approaches his deathbed...
Such a great tenor...it's easy to loose sight of what a unique talent Pavarotti was, especially after 1990 when he became over commercialized. He should also be remembered for the 30 years of astonishing work prior. This is a great reminder of his greatness.
I know he is criticized for his pop-y stuff, but he did so much to bring classical music to those that otherwise would never have been exposed. Truth is, one genre couldn’t contain an outsize persona like his, and I believe the world is better for it.
This is just incredible. Luciano Pavarotti is my all time favourite tenor, with Franco Corelli in second place. The expression in the voice here is amazing. He was so generous in his art, giving 100% to everything. I so wish I had heard him live. My best chance would have been Hyde Park in the rain in 1996, but just never got round to it. Thankfully he left behind hours and hours of great performances like this one. What a star, what a legend. He will never be forgotten.
Gracie Signore Pavarotti.
I saw this video when I was a kid. It was a Christmas presentation few days before Christmas Day. I was awestruck by his magnificent voice and his charismatic personality. Since then I admire Luciano Pavarotti and the admiration turn to greater fascination and as a young man I came to conclusion that this is the greatest tenor of them all. He is the best of the 3 Tenors and the King of High Cs. Bravo Maestro. PAVAROTTI IS THE BEST!!!
Quién sabe cuando el Creador nos dará otra voz como el gran Pavarotti. Nos dejó grandes interpretaciones para muchas generaciones amantes de la buena música. Gracias mi Dios.... gracias Pavarotti, que tu alma descanse en paz!
With his voice Luciano Pavarotti carves every musical note into living things but this time having a good chisel, the conductor with an outstanding orchestra.
I used to listen this back in when I was about 4or5 years old. I heard this song now for the first time in 10years or more, immediately recognized this
Yes my friend I noticed this as well. This to me is one of the most stirring moments I have seen. There are no words to describe here * unbelievable performance*
This performance was magnificent; it is on a par with the performance of this in Hebrew sung by Cantor Gershon Sirota (zt'l). May their memories be as a blessing.
Such a “simple” aria, from the collection of arias that every single classical singing beginner has to do, and yet one of the most touching and beautifully sung renditions of Pavarotti ever. The raw power and pure emotion in that single note at 7:18 is overwhelming.
@@mrmosyo30 Any aria is a simple aria if you take out all the qualities that make a good aria. If you don't care about the technique, the dynamics, the dictation, the projection, any aria is simple. I think each aria has their own difficulty and each aria has a different challenge for a singer

Merry Christmas..2009 Pray the rosary for peace..(we need it more then ever)
I have to sing this (half step lower) in front of a panel for finals. I was in tears listening to this because you can feel the character in his voice. This will be helpful during practice as far as getting into character. Beautifully sung.
