Nice of you to give credits to the channel covering their storyline. With NicoleZara having problems to upload to YT for quite a while, I was not able to follow Shorty regularly. A week ago I decided to give it another shot and was delighted to find out about the "turn of events" for Harper. Thanks for your excellent recap of all the relevant aspects leading up to her blossoming affair with Phil. Seems like I came back to Shorty at just the right time. I am down for things to heat up, even though presumably getting messy along with that.

Ugh, don't get me started on Nicole and Harper. They were great together. I hated the fact that Winny was always in the picture during their relationship and that Nicole was so confused. That line from Harper "you made me love you" breaks me every time. Ria does a great job portraying Harper. Okay, maybe I'm a little bit biased, because I might have had a tiiiiiny crush on Harper since 2014. I never would have thought that they would go there again with Harper since her and Drew are such a solid couple on the show. I would really like to see that side of her explored more since I'm not the biggest fan of Drew anyway. Harper deserves the best.

Harper's always been my favourite (besides Sally) on the show & to have her come kind of full circle and reaffirming her bisexuality with this (albeit messy) storyline feels amazing. I regularly rewatch the 2014 Nicole/Harper storyline for personal torture, because I absolutely agree with you that Ria & Sally's characters have amazing on screen chemistry and their character clicked. Now with a decade of friendship between them Iit would make for an absolute banger of a storyline if they'd ever decide to make them endgame. A girl can dream, ey?😅 I'm totally sat for the Harper/Phil- disaster, very curious about the repercussions this will have in the long run. While I definitely have my problems with Phil's attitude and her not taking no for an answer, I'm more intrigued by Harper's side of the story. As you said, she's always had a bit of wild child energy in her and her settling with Drew only put a temporary damper on that. It's reemerging full force with Phil. Harper and Nicole was a few hours. Nicole and Maeve is so long it'll take you days to watch it all. The clips on the vid are more ore less linear but I do jump around a bit. Glad you liked!

The ship has sailed way past for the ones wondering whether to watch it anymore. Now scenes of both of them together are a rarity and if present it’s completely professional.
It's been about time. In recent times all that was left of gay stories in the series was Nicole and Maeve, everything else had either disappeared from the show or settled into hetero relationships. Unfortunately the show has started filing copyright on platforms like YT even for short clips, which is why I stopped watching this about half a year ago, it's just no fun if there are so many clip extracts from episodes missing. If you know how to watch the missing episodes or at least clips from those, let me know.
TVNZ+ (with a vpn if out of NZ) has 6 months approx of episodes. Otherwise the channel Nicole Zara posts - of course copyright makes things tricky but if you watch as they get posted and before getting blocked, you'll be able to stay up to date (link in description to that channel and the Nicole and Harper storyline which is also on UA-cam). There are full episodes on Dailymotion, I've been able to find some for 2018 which allowed me to get the clips of Billie, Harper's first child being born for this video... I know they blitzed a lot of eps from 2016 and other dates, but if you search you will find some. Good luck!

I have all the clips collected ever uploaded by NicoleZara up to middle of march, just from there on there are huge holes in my collection.

Either that or going to TVNZ+ and recording their full episodes and clipping it yourself... Thanks for your video) it's interesting that several days ago I watched your video about "the gayest soap", and as a new watcher of Shortland Street I got MUCH information, but I thought: and what about new pairing? And after several days today I get a new video about them😄 It's a little strange how different are comments on youtube and in twitter for example. Twitter commentators are very aggressive and think that this storyline is the worst ever, because it is a sexual harassment, and Phil is "awful", and everything like that. These comments make me a little sad, because as a new watcher I like this story. Yes, Phil is too much persistent and does not know that "no means no", but Harper really likes her, and nobody forces her to come to Phil or to flirt with her. And she obviously likes their kisses. Ok, I know about Harper's family and children, and all this is complicated, but I love PhilHarper chemistry, and I would like to watch this story as long as it's possible. I just hope that there is no any murder or death (because, as I found out, it is usual and normal for this soap😂).
I feel pretty confident there will not be any murders or death for these two ladies, but drama, there will be for sure. I agree it's not great that Phil is persistent but Harper is blowing hot and cold and Phil is clearly very into Harper so she's just responding to whatever mood Harper seems to be in. To be honest, I don't care if this is problematic, I'm into it and it is, after all, a soap!

Shortland Street is far from the gayest soap opera. Here in Finland we have a soap opera that has featured 41 queer characters during its almost 26 years on air. Shorty only has had 22 or so

In recent times all that was left of gay stories in the series was Nicole and Maeve, everything else had either disappeared from the show or settled into hetero relationships.
Unfortunately the show has started filing copyright on platforms like YT even for short clips, which is why I stopped watching this about half a year ago, it's just no fun if there are so many clip extracts from episodes missing.
If you know how to watch the missing episodes or at least clips from those, let me know.
TVNZ+ (with a vpn if out of NZ) has 6 months approx of episodes. Otherwise the channel Nicole Zara posts - of course copyright makes things tricky but if you watch as they get posted and before getting blocked, you'll be able to stay up to date (link in description to that channel and the Nicole and Harper storyline which is also on UA-cam).
There are full episodes on Dailymotion, I've been able to find some for 2018 which allowed me to get the clips of Billie, Harper's first child being born for this video... I know they blitzed a lot of eps from 2016 and other dates, but if you search you will find some. Good luck!

I have all the clips collected ever uploaded by NicoleZara up to middle of march, just from there on there are huge holes in my collection.

Either that or going to TVNZ+ and recording their full episodes and clipping it yourself... I do wish Shorty Street would allow the full edits to stay up or would clip these storylines themselves and post, I think it would be super popular!

Thanks for your video) it's interesting that several days ago I watched your video about "the gayest soap", and as a new watcher of Shortland Street I got MUCH information, but I thought: and what about new pairing? And after several days today I get a new video about them😄
It's a little strange how different are comments on youtube and in twitter for example. Twitter commentators are very aggressive and think that this storyline is the worst ever, because it is a sexual harassment, and Phil is "awful", and everything like that. These comments make me a little sad, because as a new watcher I like this story. Yes, Phil is too much persistent and does not know that "no means no", but Harper really likes her, and nobody forces her to come to Phil or to flirt with her. And she obviously likes their kisses. Ok, I know about Harper's family and children, and all this is complicated, but I love PhilHarper chemistry, and I would like to watch this story as long as it's possible. I just hope that there is no any murder or death (because, as I found out, it is usual and normal for this soap😂).
I feel pretty confident there will not be any murders or death for these two ladies, but drama, there will be for sure. I agree it's not great that Phil is persistent but Harper is blowing hot and cold and Phil is clearly very into Harper so she's just responding to whatever mood Harper seems to be in. To be honest, I don't care if this is problematic, I'm into it and it is, after all, a soap!

Shortland Street is far from the gayest soap opera. Here in Finland we have a soap opera that has featured 41 queer characters during its almost 26 years on air. Shorty only has had 22 or so

I got the clips I did from the Nicole Zara channel's discord channel. I haven't found any other clips, but it would be super fun to see the whole debacle.
