Gonna have to show this one to dad, he was hauling coal in the 80s and 90s, although he was driving triaxles. Different time back then he said they all carried guns with them because there was always something going on, Union on strike looking to block off the trucks, or someone mad about “their” road getting torn up.
Well I guess it's still 80's and 90's in here then currently... ☺️
Tell Pops I said "Hello..."
@@blackzack304 good to hear you keep one on you. If you ever find yourself on rt 16 in Raleigh County at a little plant at Tams you’ll probably meet ol dad or myself. Y’all stay safe down there.
@@loganbaileysfunwithtrains606 You too Mister. You never know. You might've already met me. Use to work for Frankie Graham years ago.
read into Appalachia history as a river critter myself. it truly is sad what the corps did to our land, people, health here. All while the government actively encouraged the corps to crush us under their heels. We remember that the police are there more to control than to help under this current system.
@@timothylollathin9371 I simply just want to live half decent without a joke of a President in the Office and to keep my people working. Without everything costing stupid amounts. That's not asking for much.
Been there done that, in late 80's early 90's Wv, Pa, Oh. Great video!!
Appreciate it lol. 🙏🏽

I worked for Halliburton in Pennsylvania MN drove a lot in WV. Them roads were narrow n windy n hilly. Didn't enjoy driving in WV. Could not make any time with being heavy most times. Enjoyed driving in Ohio though. Mainly flat. Course Kentucky wasn't much better than WV. Keep er between the ditches.
It’s tight on that haul been down that road a bunch
Starting at B&J Monday, wish me luck and see you out there Brother
You too Mister. Be cool. 😎🚛💨

@@blackzack304 Yep. They had that scale in to road there on 23 going north and would weigh trucks . We would wait until shift change then sneak up through to cement plant in Dundee.
We had extra axle on trailer but still only permitted for 87,000. Lol. Highest I think I got was 127,000
@@user-qv8df9vj2o Most I ever was, was 187,000 but that was Off-Road... 132,000 on Road, on accident lol...
@@blackzack304 I remember old days hauling coils outta Chicago, gary area. We doubled up a lot . Got caught few times . Lol

A lot of people think packing the Coal is easy… Got to look out for more then 126,000 Pounds worth of Truck… Roads lean… Watching your Wagon on the regular… Work Zones and getting paid by the load, then packing the Mail when you’re free… DOT…

What kinda engine were you running in that truck? I saw you stopped runnin coal. Hopefully your doin ok!:)
Not doing too bad. Kindly getting tired of Trucking altogether. Thinking about going Underground. Trucking Industry just sucks anymore. I love it, but not in our current time with Biden in the Office. Appreciate the concern. 😎🚛💨
Engine is a CM871 DOHC ISX Cummins. Factory 600HP/1,850Torque. Was deleted as well. Still had the VGT Turbo setup. Eaton Fuller 18 Speed behind it. 52K Eaton Rears with 4.30 Gears. Sitting on 24.5's.
