UPDATE: Need to add here that after about a month's usage, I have one major issue with my Galaxy Watch 5. It is not tracking the heart rate correctly after the start of an exercise for a good half or more of the exercise. It has gone in twice to Samsung Repair and now the latest test was with its original Nov 2022 firmware, but then read 95% of the exercise without showing the increase in heart rate (whilst the Fitbit does display correctly). So this is an ongoing issue which can be serious for exercise tracking. 😟
It came right for one day, and then stopped again, so I've bought a Polar H10 Chest Strap and this is how I'm getting the exercise data back into Samsung Health - gadgeteer.co.za/how-to-get-polar-h10-chest-strap-or-other-external-bluetooth-sensors-data-into-samsung-health-for-workouts

the thing I really miss on android watches compares to apple watch is that filling your daily rings especially the "coaching". samsung hast hearts but its not smart. Apple watch will tell you at the end of the day "you still got 10 more workouts minutes to do" (for example). Samsung (or any other watch) doesnt do that. There are only step reminders or stand up reminders

Yes it does lack a bit there. It can also depend on the exercise and the goal set. With Elliptical trainer exercise set for 30 mins duration, I do get a verbal "You're nearly there" with Samsung a few minutes before the end. There is also in options for the exercise type, a choice for Audio guide where you can toggle guide frequency. Seem to think that was what read out my calories, distance, stats audibly at points during the exercise itself.
