Yo I still can't belive you actually tried using my "unique" playstyle LOL. I wanna give a quick explanation of this playstyle for those (unhinged enough) who want to try this.
Basically, I combine two playstyles, thumb play on my left hand and index play on my right hand. With this, I'm able to use more than 2 fingers (outside of 4-holds) without having to play in a table and use an anti-slip mat or using a tablet.
This playstyle displays the portability of a thumb player with the flexibility of an index player. You can easily transfer skills between these two different playstyles and take advantage of it. However, not only it brings the complexity of an index player, it also brings the instability of a thumb player. It's pretty much a double-edged sword that only works if you know what you're doing.
So here are some tips based on what I see on this video:
- Putting your phone on your lap is an IMPORTANT element of this playstyle. Using this playstyle on a table will cause immense pain XDDD (this is why you never saw me use this playstyle on any other streams because I can't use my table)
- Because of the complexity of this playstyle, you need to be slightly proficient at both thumb and index playstyle
- You have access to 3 fingers at all times, use that to your advantage whenever needed
- Honestly, I'd say to just play more but this playstyle takes forever to get used to. Keep in mind that I used this playstyle for 8 years since the Cytus I days and I'm still using it to this day whenever I can't play on a table with an anti-slip mat
But hey, as a 11.6ptt player, it ain't stupid if it works XD

okay so from i've seen and experienced, here's my opinion:
- I feel like it's only usable if you mastered thumb, index and multi fingers play since fumb method basically used a bit of all three
- The index hand is kinda in an awkward position so you hit on the side of your index half the time and the hit detection and be inconsistent
- since you're play with both thumb and index there's really no comfortable position unless you get used to it eventually
- crosshand and underhand are awkward as heck
Tho this is coming from a ppt 9.5 thumb player so my opinion may not matter anyway
