I bought one last week..great value for money, the bracelet is even more comfortable than the one’s on my Tudor watches.
Most seikos I've had are incredibly well regulated. One of my cheapest is +/- 1 sec a day
I second you that, my seiko divers auto with sapphire back
Agreed. My SARY057 is running +2/d
How do you exactly measure it's +/-
@@zoro-fj3ic by setting the time, then 24hrs later seeing how accurately it has kept its time - down to the second. Best to do it over several days to get a average +/-
My spb143 runs more than +2 MINUTES PER DAY. Jangly bracelet and a badly misaligned bezel.
Getting this one soon. Stunning watch. Imo the look and quality can't be beat fir the $$$
I’m pulling the trigger on this watch very soon
You won't regret it.
Thank you, for presentation.
Pretty good description. Bracelet is only very comfortable. Only detractors are the end links and their figment in my opinion. Over size spring bar tips do the job though 👍👍
Thanks, great, short to the point:)
I have a huge watch collection. My Grand Seiko is by far the best. Rolex should take notes.
I have the 140th anniversary edition
What rubber strap was that ?
Muy bonito
How bad is the inaccuracy? The best Seiko I’ve had, the Tic Tac 35th Anniversary ran +5spd. That to me was still not good enough. I sold all my affordable brands to get the Tudor BB58. As my lone watch now, it runs -0.5spd.
It varies from Seiko to Seiko in my experience, but +5spd is really good for one.
Mine runs at +2 minutes PER DAY

What am I going to do with the 24 Jews that come with the watch?
that struck me as funny......
I own the SPB 143 and Black Bay 58. The Seiko is far more accurate with the Tudor constantly running fast.
I got both too 😇✌🏻
@Kallekallsen what do prefer ?
@@PepRex when it was brand new? It’s run fast since day 1
@@davidwestwood2627then return it becuase the movement is not good
This is not a review because you just repeat the accuracy noted on the Seiko's paper.
The actual accuracy on hand is around 2- 5s a day depending in the watch position.
Their accuracy specification vastly overestimates actual measured out of the box performance.
How much
The only letdown is the accuracy? Do we not know that Seiko misstates its accuracy? Why not test it?
So the only thing it's bad at is telling the time? Beautiful watch...
Poor Mans Tudor Black Bay ... great watch
Typically between $3,500 and $4,000 USD.
idk about all that. the original design of this watch predates the black bay by 47 years
Idk why you said that watches are all watches and it’s a art, just because a watch is not 50 or thousands dollars don’t mean it’s not a watch. You know nothing about watches
6R36 just won't cut it at 1500$ price point
Chunky??? What? Sure if you have a six inch wrist it might feel chunky I guess
This guy probably wears 36-38mm watches. They look tiny on my 7.5in wrist
Nice looking watch but seen one in store they all have the same issue, indices are misaligned, 6 o'clock is obvious
Using Timex chronograph watch since long Timex USA since 1854*
Seiko does not over claim that the movement is exactly like other watch brands. it is written + 25 seconds a day while the reality is only +- 2 to +-4 seconds a day. they want you to buy a grand seiko
No ceramic bezel 👎
lol
You can't buy this watch anymore. The new ones all have the ugly lume at 3 o'clock.
What do u mean?
@@mikejamieson419in order to meet updated COSC regulations, there’s a newer version that has a vertical lume pip between the date window and the crown. The version without the lume pip, like this one in the video, are hard to come by. Especially brand new
@@sinjonI honestly don’t mind it, but the question I’d have for Seiko is: why even bother shooting for COSC certification in the first place if you’re not even going to regulate the movement accuracy to COSC standards?
@@Tunnelsnakesits not about the cosc, its about getting the "divers" certification
@@alexanderr.9676 I see, it’s unfortunate though that Seiko is not willing to meet certified accuracy standards as well. Their watches like the most recent SJE093 disappoint me because of that.
STEEL DIVE has some that look like the Submariner.. made in China..LOL
so it’s a submariner
It’s based of a vintage Seiko diver but yeah it’s a steel sports diver so I guess it’s their Sub. It’s also much cheaper and obviously not as good but you get a lot more for your money with this Seiko than a Sub.
This watch based on a model back in 1965 of Seiko
The original predated the Rolex sub I thought
Should've been 42mm
If only this thing was 11-12mm it would have the perfect dimensions
Tudor looks same
