I recommend performing a thorough gap analysis. Start by understanding the organization's current capabilities and where it falls short in meeting business objectives. This can be done by comparing the "as-is" state (current processes, systems, and capabilities) with the desired "to-be" state. Also, be sure to review existing documentation. Analyze current workflows, process diagrams, business rules, and system architecture to identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies. I hope that helps.
