You were correct the 1st time, it's preference, there is no science proving anyone is born with an alternative sexual preference. It's not hateful, nor derogatory to say you were not born that way.

First time viewer and I got great respectful vibes from you...if there is ANYONE hopelessly sensitive enough to be offended by such pedantics when you CLEARLY mean well to all your audience, it is my opinion that they owe you an apology. I have some leads for guidance but I don’t like how they present their conclusions. You actually bring structure into your information. Not the usual high speed superfluous overflow we tend to see these days.

Edited, because I missed Mr. VanDusen's information in the description where he clearly stated that trends come in waves and differ from region to region.. Good round up of trends, sir. I do appreciate the tips. Some of these trends are getting "old" in some parts of the world. I guess it all depends on where in the world you are, like you mention in the description. Especially the vintage apothecary (which first started to be trendy in Northern Europe/UK for well over a year ago), eco and muted tones. It's never wrong to get tips though, and I will subscribe to stay in the loop. Well done video!

IMHO a revival. Trends are cyclical especially in design. Some never go away. Russian Constructivism has been going strong in poster design for 100 years.
In regards to Metaverse: Um, Zuckerberg didn't come up with this concept. Linden Labs has been working on Metaverse for years... Second Life started in 2003 and has been improving yearly since. He can't "claim" the concept of a virtual world, no matter how much he would like to... Check into Second Life, Opensim grids and the VR virtual worlds like Sansar....js

It's amazing what you can find in there from mesh (3D objects) to graphics. There's a lot of designers in SL. There's so much that people do in the grid from creating things to roleplay and joining a community.
Geoff, yes, in a sense you are right, but what I was focusing on here was the influence the aesthetic design or visualization of the Metaverse that is emerging (and rapidly evolving - even since I did this video) may be having on extended areas of graphic design. I just named it 'metaverse' as a catch-all to the aesthetic.
Gilberto, I'm so sorry for my mistake in nomenclature. I have to admit, it is hard to stay current, as much as I try. One of my key clients is a telehealth company that facilitates folks undertaking gender transition - an amazing company with an amazing mission - so you think I'd have my sh*t together. But please know, the respect is there, and the intention was honorable.
I'm a designer undergrad and i appreciate these videos that gives a good direction towards where i should improve my portfolio.
