- This is the tale of Walter; surrounded by Cats and Hedgehogs !! Walter is surrounded by all kinds of cats at daytime and he gets along with all of them.. But at night... the hedgehogs emerge from the darkness... And Walter is definitely not okay with that :)

This channel is about the daily lives and adventures of my 3 indoor cats Santi, Indy & Chewie and our 14 outdoor cats and my dog Walter.
Our outdoor cats are living in our garden and their names are D'Artagnan, The Rolling Cat (Princess), The Purring Cat, D'Artagnan's Girlfriend, Porthos, Zoom, Junior, The Mom Cat, The Big Head, Ruzgar, Nope, Pamuk, Pamuk Jr. and Vasak.

Apart from the videos of our cats, from time to time I also upload videos of other animals I come across. So it's all about animals here! Enjoy!

You could write a children's storybook about this garden and its residents. It's kind of a mini paradise on Earth where all creatures are content and at peace with each other.

Where the best friends, and always sleep together, when we took Max the dog out for a walk the cat was always behind us 😀

Yeah, I think a lot of us were, but things are busier now for everyone now that the pandemic is over. There's now more work, especially out of the house, and less time for filming and editing. It's just a matter of time for everyone to start adjusting to new schedules and carving out regular time UA-cam editing. Plus, it's hard to know what videos will do best on UA-cam anymore. TikTok and UA-cam Shorts changed the landscape, as well as the algorithms, so it's more adjusting.
Obviously, we'll take what we can get. The way he makes the videos lets us really meet the cats, Walter, and even himself. We begin to see the little furry friends as extended family 😻😸🐈⬛🐈
@@tommycscat I understand. Some people near me (fully vaccinated) are getting co-vid still. Yes more people are going back to work. I don't like 'shorts' videos. Can anyone explain why youtube is pushing for those? Is your cat black (pic)? All cats are beautiful!
Sharon G. - Hi Sharon, I really do like the short videos so... Guess you can please some of the people some of the time, but not all the people all the time. Lol

Marvellous stuff, and I roared with laughter at that young grey tabby lounging on the step like some 1970s lounge lizard, then holding up his paw at your camera as though to say ‘No pictures, man!’.
Zoom’s looking very well; nice and plush. What a jolly crew they are, even the reticent ones.
Seeing the sweet hedgehogs like this, mingling with your own crowd, I now hope maybe even a fox might turn up, if Walter could tolerate one. Foxes and cats are often excellent pals (and I think a fox is more cat than dog anyway) 😻🦊

@@dianneleon2522 Really? I’ve been spoilt then, seeing foxes literally playing games in the small hours with the strays near my house.
Maybe the fox finds plenty to eat round here, where there are lots of houses and gardens. I don’t know how it works, exactly! 😽🐾
(Wasn’t entirely serious though as I’m sure any suspicion of a fox would drive Walter to distraction! 🦊‼️🚫
Foxes aren’t actually related to cats despite looking like them at times!
@@Arelenedhel Well yeah, I know they’re dog-related of course, but that’s why I get such a kick out of the way they and cats often get on so very well, like they’re recognising and liking something in each other, species notwithstanding. It lets them both drop their natural guard and just be playful; it’s beautiful!
Foxes are like a CatDog, they have characteristics of both. That pounce just like a Cat!!! 😁

Oh my gosh, I’ve never seen a hedgehog before. We have raccoons and opossums in snowy Minnesota right now, but how fascinating to see a hedgehog. Everything is so green and warm-looking where you live. Great video, thanks! New subscriber here.
Even though he has an orange tree, he also had 15 inches of snow a few years back! There's a great video of the cats playing in the snow.

Hedgehogs are found all over Europe, where they are popular both as pets and cartoon chars.

Hedgehogs are really cute. Spiky, but cute. They're only in trouble if a mamacat gets really hungry; a good street cat can take out a hedgehog. (a dog will get a face full of quills instead of dinner.)

I love you added cat food for the spikey family 😋 I love hedgehogs. Had a small family that were feeding on cat food. First one of them, then they all came every night for their ration 🤣

I love how chill the cats are with the hedgehogs. I imagine it's a cat rite of passage to paw or nose at a hedgehog, and from then on they understand why nobody does that. 😹 (Dogs, alas, are not so smart. I've seen too many vet shows with dogs who've tangled with porcupines multiple times. 😅) I also love how chill the hedgehogs are with everyone, including the human with a camera!
It's so WONDERFUL how wild animals like hedgehogs, can visit, to eat and be around Walter, his partner and the large cat family outside...and everyone is getting along so well together in such close proximity!!!!

Love Walter, he’s such a cute and goofy old dog. Funny watching him just roll around all over the place just letting the kitties know “hey guys I live here too!” It’s nice that they all get along well with each other, even if Walters tail gives them a pretty good whack, they just run off like “O geez, here he goes again, I’m gonna get out of the way”.
