Awesome video sir thanks for sharing it with us. I’m a Oliver man and I love my 1955 but my family growing up had a couple International 856’s with the aftermarket turbos and I have to admit they are really good dependable tractors too
I dont think it has to do with the driver. Its about " plowing ". Nothing on top of the ground.....and those that plow claim it turns the stocks / residue under ? It dont . It tips the sod / stalks on their sides. Imagine the erosion when theres a 6 inch rain ?
In 1965 dad bought a new row crop standard 4020 sycro range transmission. I spent a lot of hours in the seat. Mom and a sister called that tractor screaming me me. Because it was louder then the 2 cylinder tractors. We pulled a 4-14 pull type John Deere plow. A couple yrs ago I bought a 1967 4020 row crop standard sycro range transmission. I could use your right rear tire. Want to trade tires?(both tractors were diesels) We run in forth gear to plow and other heavy tillage. What gear did you run in ?
Great footage Mike! This is the one I've been waiting for, fun to see both of my rigs working. I'd like to take a round or two on that 2150 someday. That is one beautiful example of a 350 Don was driving. I assume they got the diff-lock line fixed on the 4020?
Great video out of it abundance of ignorance. I have to ask why do folks stop with the plow in the ground and not raised the plow out of the ground and then stop clutch being let out with the plow the ground.
Why on earth does any one even own a plow now days ????? Much of the nations topsoil........ended up at the bottom or down the rivers because of the " plow " ! Dont give me this...its flat ground thing ! It washes !!!! The flatter the more it washes because of the build up of water and cutting action relating to water flow ! Besides that the ground has been strip clean. Nothing to hold the soil ! Try to replace the nutrients after a four inch rain ??? Impossible ! Turn those plows into scrap metal ! Oh....now days we talk " regenerative " ?????? Hello ! Soils do not regenerate they constantly degenerate ! Its call " decomposition " ! Example.........sand is sand.....you can do all you want.......to increase fertility. In the end you have " sand " !
@@RJ1999x You refer to me as being a college boy ? Not hardly ! Been farming for nearly 50 years.. and never been to college. I never qualified to go to college. I am smart enough to know yah dont use a plow though !

How many negative people are out to text negatively, this driver is a good operator

Good video of a variety of tractor brands.
I can see the soil is heavy but that 856 is working with that 5 bottom…love to see it with that 4 bottom off the 4020.
Wow that ground must not have been worked for awhile
Looks like they need to find someone that knows how to run that thing 😅

First of all you need to open the throttle up on that John Deere

Glad You liked this one! Yeah, 2150’s are fun to Run! 4020 was fixed later that Day I believe!
If you look, it’s only half throttle

It’s obvious I’m not there to know all the dynamics of what is happening
They like to slip their clutch.
too much plow for the oliver
I agree
Sure is.
@@terryhobdy5727 Very painful to watch!
Note.....plowing does not turn residue under ! It turns it on its side. Ive never seen a plow yet that turns the soil completely upside down !
That 4020 need a fuel filter?

@JimHerman-o3q I wish I could share pictures on here, because I can show you evidence that you're wrong
