Calm aim coaching: pendragon.store/products/coaching As promised I have opened up some slots for personal calm aim coaching from me, and will be accepting the first 5 paid students for my first batch.🥳 I have been working on a calm aim video guide the last few months so this is mainly to see how the entire process works through the mind of the viewers, in order to better tailor the video guide properly to you the viewer before dropping it. The small group of students is so I can focus on them and streamline my process without getting overwhelmed, and then later on I might accept more if I continue doing them after the full guide drops, but I most likely won't as this is a more limited time thing. ❤ If you cannot afford it please do not pay! just wait for the video to drop!! 😡
Coming from a lower-level cypher main (silver), a lot of the initial enticement to get into Cypher comes from the util placement that gets you kills without them ever seeing you. So a lot of Cyphers I see at this level have great trips but don't know how to properly utilize them or don't focus on improving gunplay because they expect to get the kill before you see them. Also Pendragon is a goated series I loved those books
Yeah 100%. A lot of lower level players pick cypher to play passive and compensate for their bad aim which ends up holding them in low elo for years, because they are constantly improving their cypher setups and not their overall gameplay. It's why I always advocate for anyone below Ascendant to learn a couple of simple setups for each map and invest the rest of the free time into fundamentals like crosshair placement, peeking methods, aim fundamentals etc. This way they can build upon their already built foundation with their cypher knowledge rather than overcompensate with setups.
There's no such thing as "basic". This is a flawed measurement that Cypher mains use and is exactly what I mean when I say players overcomplicate and overthink when they play Cypher. The value of a setup comes from it's effectiveness and not in it's complexity. In a meta where every Cypher main has the craziest Tiktok setups I found that on many occasions switching up and doing the opposite has caused great success and increased the effectiveness of each trip, of course you can't use the same setups over and over so make sure you're constantly switching up trip locations and your positioning. However! I strongly believe that until around Ascendant 1-2 low elo players are so scared of executing sites that it actually makes Cypher harder than in higher elos. "Basic" setups tend to work less there since they play so damn slowly, they walk every angle and end up seeing the trips, but that's also why I recommend learning fundamentals instead of crazy cypher setups. Having good technique greatly beats having Tiktok setups :) For the first clip where they kept walking into the trips if I remember correctly their gekko mentioned their team vc was bugged so it was a 1 in a million type of moment where the stars aligned. It'll probably next happen again to me :(
@@Pendragon_gg I mean I have mained Cypher for a year now with 450 hrs and I get those 25kill + games but ig ppl are getting used to most setups like in ascent A I can think of 3 setups with 2 trips in site which gets easily broken if u have sova or raze but if u play backsite.. retake is hard so yah I'm hardstuck now
@@Pendragon_gg plus they keep checking angles and enter slow idk if it's just my server thing it's not like I don't get kills using trips but it has become quite rare to get like a ace or 4k
Cypher plays a major role in clearing hookah/bathroom/garden/on site/closed areas with one smoke and camera before your duelist enters into hookah/bathroom so that the initiator can focus it's resources into the actual site
It's something I actively try to be mindful of since I'm prone to frustration due to my perfectionism. Luckily with games like Valorant every game is winnable if you play insanely well, so I find it hard to blame teammates since I know if I play better we would win. I remind myself "If tenz was on my team we would win". So I just focus on myself and getting better :) Which is the oppsite of league (which I played for almost a decade) where if your team ints then many games are truly unwinnable.
I appreciate the kind words and support ❤️ and yeah I was 1k subs just yesterday and now almost 5k! the amount of love and support has been absolutely incredible :D
one thing i learned from this video, after being hardstuck diamond, i now know you dont have to face the switch on the door to close it on Ascent A site
is it just me or are the graphics so good here? I can't quite put my finger on what it is but it looks so satisfying. Is it a video filter or in game graphics settings? I would love to replicate them in my game if its possible
I often intentionally don't use it. E.g. if people rotate away if they see cam, and to make the enemies guess where I am. Cam is great if I want early info for fast rotations etc but I prefer to have fun and just frag out :)
what rank is this? i mean when im playing unranked every trip i place is either shot down without catching anybody or shot down when it catches 1 person
I just discovered your channel yesterday. safe to say you are one of my new favourite valo creators. you deserve so much more recognition, ans ill be looking forward to all your new content 🔥🔥
why does it feel like it takes longer for enemies to kill you in higher ranks, ive been diamond 3 before and i feel that was easier than gold (which i am rn hehe...)
It's usually differences in timings and movement (not using ad movement and also walking around corners). I'd also argue the difference in mental clarity too. For example for you it might seem you are dying really fast but in reality it's just your perception making it seem fast due to inefficiencies in your gameplay such as your crosshair placement being off so you're wasting time readjusting, your movement being off so you are wasting time stopping your target -> reacting -> stopping, panicking, and lots of other factors. If you went and recorded + timed every interaction you have with enemies in each elo you will come to the conclusion that time to kill does decrease as ranks increase. When I watch my friends play in lower elo games the games feel like they are being played in slow motion there's almost all the time in the world to react even when caught off guard. One way you can fix it is by going into deathmatch and removing your fear of dying by moving around the map until you spot enemies and then simply aiming at their heads without ever shooting and then just track their heads and they move around trying to shoot you you need to also move realistically left or right using only A or D and you will see that it's all in your head since you're not dying as fast as you initially thought. Once this fear of death is removed you will stop panicking and you will see the enemies movements super clear and you will stop feeling like you die immediately.
I've been a duelist main since I started playing around a year and a half ago and bounce around Immo 1-3. I picked up Cypher just a few days ago as my new main agent (A huge change I know lol) These videos are a big help, thanks
So what if it is. Just enjoy the video, or leave. Nothing constructive about weird comments like that. Gotta be real bored to pop into someone's videos just to comment some arrogant nonsense nobody asked for
I liked the first 2 trips on lotus c, another good trip i like to use is off the right side aide of the box, u can place it diagonally across the entrance covering the whole entrance
In the last clip, only god knows what Sova was trying to do. He baited you into oblivion, and with that plantspot no way he wouldnt panic the moment Deadlock taps it
when at lotus C site, you can put trap near the big box, then you can wallshoot from top C behind (not waterfall, the other one from spawn defending). It is good for when you want to go back and wait your friend
I'll put thought into it 🤔 the reason I don't really do setup guides is because my setups tend to be very situational and based on past enemy patterns/ pathing and previous trip locations for extra mindgames and it's quite hard to convey those into a guide. I do have a couple defaults per map that I could do guides on so we shall see in the future :D

Kinda irrelevant question, but do you think I can improve my aim with like 2-4 times playing Val a week, vary from 2 - 5 hours? I been stucking in Gold for a while now, I meet some plat to immo enemy quite a bit in my normal games and most of the time I perform fine but when in rank against someone with the same level it cant really convert. Do you have any tips for aim and how to regain concentration after hours?
I play around the same amount of hours, maybe even less tbh. The reason I can play high elo with significantly less games is because I put in more time for practice than grinding. If you practice Val fundamentals like crosshair placement, movement, peeking methods and Aim fundamentals like bardoz method, tracking etc. You will naturally climb significantly faster. Your focus each game should be on improving one aspect of your game at a time, don't overload yourself. Concentration varies from person to person. In general maintain good sleep, exercise and drink lots of water. If you are burning a lot of brain energy/ willpower then consuming some extra glucose will help too. Frequently stretch your fingers and wrists as well as refocus your eyes.
As a cyper main this guy is the reason my enemy slow pushing trying to get info if cyper on site. And if it is then they always rotate lmao. Me: "Holding into nothing"💀⚰️
