Please come back and do some more dynamic scenarios analysis using OLGA , shutdown , restart , turndown , ramp up , pigging , black startup , normal start up , and most importantly pressure surge analysis for oil and gas systems (valve closure, Pump start up and shutdown) it would be a great addition to the already great OLGA library you have
Hi Mr. Hatef, thanks for sharing your knowledge. It is very useful. I try the same model but with minor changes. I keep the valve at the middle of pipeline. The model does not converge and it gives error as "pressure below Table values -0.084 bar". How to solve this error. In PVTSim we can not generate fluid table below 0.001 bar. Kindly give me your advice to solve the error.
Great Work, can you please upload a few videos on how to create tab files using PVTsim. It would be grateful if you would also share the tab file. Thanks
Thank you very much for sharing this. Have you ever tried to simulate water hammer occurring on a check valve (a "non-return" valve)? I mean when the valve is shut by the fluid itself, preventing its backflow in a circuit that is meant to be unidirectional ? Can you point out why such design are particularly prone to generate water hammer? Thank you
hello, great job one question: starting from 11.08 sec you have used the mouse in order show the pressure profile vs time, in my duplication i cannot do this , the time goes directly from 0 sec up to 20 secds!! how to fix this? thx
Hi Hatef, My senior project group at LSU is utilizing OLGA software for our project. We are trying to perform a water hammer simulation similar to yours, but we keep getting an error saying "Pressure in Node-1 above pressure range". Do you have any insight as to how we can go about changing a pressure range? Thanks for all the tutorials, and I know the question might be vague, but we appreciate any help.

Thank you very much, very enlightening. Please can you provide the data files used in this exercise.
Thank you for sharing. May you share how you make water tab and only compo H20 using PVTsim?
did he share with you ?

can you help me with this tutorial? i have to do a project with water hammer phenomena
How can I help you sir? Please explain your problem and your question
Better to use PIPENET as a specialist software in pressure surge. OLGA's result for pressure surge is not up to scale.
Very good

Kyle Beckert Hi Kyle. Increase you pressure range in your tab file. This might help to get rid of the error
thx aloooot
can i have your contact, email or everything else?
