I’ve always felt so in touch with the Native American on my mothers side since I was a child and now as an adult I’m also delving into my Celtic pagan roots and combining all of it and finding the similarities and the beauty within all the places I come from has been so magical.

What a great episode!
I loved her quote that “No matter what, we’re going to have a relationship with our ancestors. Whether we’re going to carry their legacy forward of their wisdom and beauty and magic or we’re going to carry the legacy of their traumas and wounds.”
Great points on how we’ve been made out to feel that if we celebrate another culture or wear an outfit from or help support that community that we’re cultural appropriating. It absolutely does not make sense to me. I saw trend on TikTok a while back that was saying that if you are a white person, then you’re not allowed to wear hoop earrings. That type of mindset is very scary to me. I want to learn and celebrate cultures outside my own.
Sahara, I love how you do your podcast and interviews. You allow the guest to speak from the heart and talk for as long as they need to without interrupting or continuously asking additional questions or having to share your side of things for everything. Not a lot of podcasters that I watch tend to have this magical presence power.
