the part about historical figures makes me think of that mobile otome game where the love interests were actually famous male historical figures like napoleon,Shakespeare ecc.The plot twist was that they were all vampires

Hideyoshi Toyotomi aka the monkey guy was known to be Nobunagas right hand man, and became shogun after he murked the guy that killed him. The nickname is true to life as Nobunaga did genuinely call him monkey, as his facial features and skinny body reminded Nobunaga of one. It's a fact that's referenced a lot in media.

@@ItMustBeK8 Yeah, the nickname is also kinda fucked up if you think about it, since the reason we don't have any record of Hideyoshi's early life is probably because he was hella poor. Meaning he most likely looked like that because he was malnourished.
Whys that dude wearing modern style glasses when they werent invented yet in the sengoku period like who gave him those glasses? Did some guy w the exact same prescription as glassesdude also fall into this world? Are they decorative?

I've also done to much research on this show as it has a non exist ant fand9m. The voice actor for Kenshin (Blue haired cat boy) has the same Va as Shu in DL and Shingen (red haired cat boy) has the same Va as Reiji. I think Laitos Va is also one of the cat boys. 😭😭 Oh and Hideyoshi's Va is Tanjiro Kamado's.
Actually, Laito isn't one of the catboys (or werewolves actually lmao) he was in the newest army their species are Oni's (i kinda forgor the army name) but if you happen to find a pic with those guys, Laito is the same VA as the Oni who holds an Umbrella/Parasol

The color changing color palette reminds me of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. But it had a purpose in Jojo's Bizarre Adventure while this one makes you feel sick.
While editing I thought it may have been used to indicate MC’s pov, but there are a number of shots that are definitely not from her perspective that still have the fucked up filter so it remains a ~*mystery*~

The only fantasy isekai I’ve watched that involves actual historical figures that I think is good is “Drifters”.
Which I recommend as either it being good or bad. From the same writer/artist as “Hellsing” if that tells you anything.

Say what you will about Sengoku Night Blood, but at least all the dudes aren’t constantly assaulting the female lead and drinking her blood without her consent every other scene like a certain other “romance” anime revolving around multiple vampire boys
Ever since Hakuoki, I despise historical otome/harem anime. They're mostly made to make people fall in love with Japanese historical figures and romanticize history while leaving out the problematic stuff. Because of their agenda, there is no room for the MC nor the lovestory between her and the love interest(s). And if the MC never does anything on her own and always has to be rescued or saved, people will downplay it by saying "This takes place in another time period, things were different back then". This excuse is especially ridiculous in settings where supernatural stuff exists.
And what's up with historical otome and vampires? Seems to be a pattern...

I just finish it and it's ok. I like the music and the backgrounds are pretty BUT there's way too many guys. Also, they all have long names so it's impossible for me to remember who is who. Hideyoshi and Shingen are the only guys in my mind right now.
Yuzuki, the heroine, is not really interresting. She's a nice girl... that's it! She is not a bit grumpy but still kind like Nanami from Kamisama kiss or brave and determinte like Yui from Kamigami no asobi, not strong and pretty like Yona from Yona of the dawn. Yuzuki is a bit boring 😐

omg this anime was so bad the plot was basically ideas we want happening slowly.
So... the heroine is trapped in war between vampires, werewolves and humans? That's horrible! She didn't deserved that! I really hope this girl will learn to fight with one of the clans, the one who will respected her and not abuse her like the vampires in Diabolik lovers. Maybe the werewolves are a bit brutal but have big hearts and they cared about her? I don't know, i never finished the anime! I stopped at episode 2 because the scenes were always changing colors and i found it annoying.
Geez the characters introductions are so annoying! They are loud, comes out of nowhere and it's not written if the guy is a soldier or a general. I prefer the ones in Kamigami no asobi. It's pretty, have colorful flowers and nice music 🙂The names are not written but we learn it at the end of episode two. It's so much better than here!
