No, it doesn’t lol. An 11gb update, and it was basically just a weapons rework that’s been needed since launch and some stuff in the store/exchange Idk about you guys, but I’m over the Stockholm syndrome
Forge also received a lot of stuff which will reflect in future content. Just may not notice it as much as you ought to given it's still a wait till the Forge stuff gets fully implemented by the community.
For me I loved Halo when it was originally released on the og Xbox, but now I could care less about Halo or Cod, they both have become unfun and nothing more than a bundle store with some multiplayer. The turning point was all the sbmm bs! I hate it I like random matches and I don't need my hand held because unlike many of you I like to try and get better.
Boys! The Disruptor is a god weapon now. If your teammates get damage down, just walk up, pop them four times and run away. They’ll die. If full, put four shots in and br them with a burst. Dead. It’s so fun to use. I love it
Bro idk why this game needs to be “patched” on steam every time we get a small content drop. The actual update was like 3gbs but you still gotta sit there as it patches another 40 something like whyyyyyy
To replace content that has since been updated. A single line of code can require a gig added to an update because that line of code has to be packages in its entire section of the engine and may be directly associated with other assets like 3d models. Likewise if they change code in Forge they may have to completely replace your current forge files, and since this update added VIP using new Forge scripting systems it means that this time it very likely was largely Forge. This is just the reality of game development. The larger the game size becomes over all, the larger the percentages become in whole numbers. In other words, if the game is 100GB, and Forge is 40% of that, then it takes a 40GB update. This was still the same back with Halo 3 when Forge first launched, except that H3 was only 6GB or so, and its forge was likely only 10% of that instead of the modern more expansive Forge. So like 60 MB if they had to update H3's Forge. Anyway, just trying to fill you in since you asked. In 20 more years games will be 1T, and their updates will be 300GB over a network that tracks in terabits if we have updates at all given that games on that fast a network could just stream them to you from a local server. So, anyway, you know, progress!
So, old content just re-purpose turns into new content 😂. Then, the same problems from the past still exist in this version. Someone becomes the VIP that doesn't want to be, and the whole team suffers for it when they die.
This update is proof some Halo “fans” will hate Halo so long as it’s made by 343i and won’t care how good it turns out to be. Stop letting your hate for 343i cloud your love for Halo.
@@mcgeeyeeeyeee It’s not a “wallet leech” if it’s free to play and buying items from the store is completely optional. And those “basic Halo mechanics” have been in the game at launch, the gameplay has seen little changes outside of fixes and improvements. And why wouldn’t the game inform you about a new Battle Pass that dropped? It lets players know an update has arrived, did you even proofread your comment? So yes, you are a hater because what you’re saying either doesn’t make sense or is borderline dishonest.
Trust me, the updates in halo infinite are absolutely piss poor compared to the updates you get in other games. Like elden ring. Please be quiet little boy.
See, in reach you fear the player that has the haunted helmet, that means they put an insane amount of hours into the game... Now it's probably just a toddler wearing the helmet because his big brother bought it for him. Lame af.
Bashing people buying the haunted helmet and yet I see you bought weapon skin for the snipes, pistol and bandit an more Lmao.. Hypocrisy even tho ya can earn those from playing. I find it interesting that I see probably $80+ worth of shop items. Im just saying, even though i wont be buying it. It wouldve been better if the helmet was added to the Hero rank rewards.
VIP actually slaps, gives me a little bit of that Regicide hype (which also needs to return)
Imagine
@DangerVille VIP is way more fun than I thought, Excited to try Headhunter!
Yo I didn’t expect to see you here LOL!
The haunted helmet is back but servers are caca again
Is it due to an influx of players?
Like, on Xbox probably, not Steam, so Steam numbers will deceive.
I never played VIP in the old games, but I'm having tons of fun with this version
Fantastic video, Nick! Thanks for the effort and time you guys put into it. ❤
Stop farming for subs, it's sad
I love the ravager rebound now

The whining hyperbole in this community is so cringe. You folks are so toxic

What sensitivity does he play on?
halo reach haunted helmet still looks better.

Now if I could find a match…. Do I need to put quarters in my Xbox?
Im from tyrone great too see a brother on youtube, new sub!
im mixed in this update i love that my favorite gun the ar got a buff and the new armor is great but i hate vip but im excited for head hunter
I’m confused, where’s the new content?
2 new modes and tons of new additions
Been waiting for this update
i tried out VIP and half of my games I was booted because the whole enemy team was "343" players lmao, I'm over it.
You know what´s not new, the ffing desync, latency and other issues, leave it to 343 the fun killers!
nice dude! keep it up
soo was there more to that near 50GB update besides the helmet you had to pay for or did I miss something?
Bro you can unlock spartan point numbnuts

Back to beta days
omg i know some of those guys Yams kmbo and icyvimon GGs
VIP needs to go to 15 points to win. Matches go way too quickly.

isn't a complete game overhaul that makes it have the janky halo 3 projectile bullets, 0/10

I just want new guns man, we dont hate halo. We want real content, helmets dont count

Amazing content
Halo 5 is goated compared to Infinite
The OG Uber setup. I feel young again
I hope the fanbase stays loyal to this game I love it
Just got banned for nothing, was literally in a math that ended in a tie... great new operation. Just great.
A pleasure being carried by you on that last game. 🙌
Still unplayable and not fun
Meh
