Funny - Apple vs Twitter was genius to add to your video. But all the things you do with these shallots is extreme!
😂😂😂👍🏻
Thanks for this great video.
I do black garlic regularly & love the umami taste!
Great inspiration.
Love your chicken rice too & that pic of the hawker stall in the video…From my country- 🇸🇬 Singapore! (It is over rated…)
your cooking is 💯on point
Awesome video & excellent content on your channel. I especially like the fact that nothing goes to waste in this video👍🏻
👍 Thanks! We do really use all of it though. Normally we use the ash to colour black breads and pastry but also for rolling cheese in.
Brilliant! 😊
What I like about your videos is they're so creative. I was watching this and thinking: "I don't have all the equipment, but what about if I tried to do it this way..." And actually being able to make me think rationally first thing on a Sunday morning is a pretty impressive superpower. 🙂
Well done 👍 buddy, excellent channel
Hahahaha, "stick it in someone else oven"! You find pretty well "the english muffin "! 😂😂😂
Are planing on making black garlic ?
I was, then I did shallots instead) Same same. Try apples and bananas. They mmmmmmm mommy. Banana just the juice that come from it. Apples, the juice and dehydrate the apples after. Best prunes you ever had. But apple 🍏
🤟
"They should be dry as a nuns-" I'm done.
That Feta caught me off guard
You ok there 👌
@@PantsDownApronsOn almost died caugh/laughing dude feta through the nose
"Now you have a natural deodorant or free facepaint" hahahahaha!
Holy shit 2 months?! Wow!!!
OG
Awe. This bra is legit!
So basically you infuse them with plastic? 😳

We should worry more about the air we breath and the origin of the food we consume. Our daily habits ( drinking, exercise, smoking, stress, sleep quality, genetics) Think I got them all…
Then let’s start worrying about not infusing foods with plastic once in a blue moon)))
I know it sounds scary but it’s not that bad and the product we get from the process is actually pretty healthy.
Wow so much work 😅
Look at the bright side. You got two months to prep the pastry)) Freezes well too.
I have only watched 2 of your videos. The first was the 'Traditional Russian Pirozhki'. Both videos take shots at Greta. I hope this is a trend. You have my subscription, friend.
😂😂🥰.
you deserve many more views !!!! great videos
Thanks happy you likey
Awesome video as always. So worth the wait. A very cool way to that coveted umami bomb!
Heat with plastic? ohhh no no that’s a bit toxic
Them bags are safe to heat. You could also just use a semi sealed glass jar
It really takes 2 months to blacken the shallots?
Does indeed
@@PantsDownApronsOn ok I couldn't tell if you were being facetious or not lol.
Thanks
I assume a sous vide would be a good way to heat these?
Sure thing
@@PantsDownApronsOn I was planning to do it until I scrolled back and clocked it is 2 months 💀 maybe one day haha. I want to calculate the electricity cost before I do it though haha
@joewills7582 something with good insulation like a rice cooker is good 👍
Cook these be cooked sous-vide? Intuitively, the dry heat from rice cooker and the water bath are different but if the shallots are vacuum-packed, would it actually make a difference?
Sure thing. 65 C is 65 C. However keeping the heat in something insulated like a rice cooker would make your energy bill a bit less.
@@PantsDownApronsOn Appreciate the response! Not seen this before so keen to give this a try 👍
Crazy good.😊
Love it!!! Does this work with garlic also?
Sure thing. Works with lots of things. Apples, garlic and onion being the most famous.
@@PantsDownApronsOn awesome. Thank you 😊
