A truly impressive company. Not many people know about this, but more will.
P.S. I do worry about A.I., and how it will be used. But not here. A brick laying machine won't be dangerous. But drones and nano-bots can easily be weaponized. I'm more worried about that than an A.I. controlled construction machine.
Well said . With fewer people working as brick layers and in trades in general automation is badly needed. The Fbr team will go down in the history books !

So far I've see that adhesive is applied only between the top and bottom surfaces of the blocks but not on the edges. How do all those gaps get filled?

Not just that . Young men don’t want to work this type of work. It’s literally back braking overtime and doesn’t give a quality of life either . Fbr is going to be the Amazon and revolutionise construction
It's a little annoying as a curious layperson that FBR has turned off comments for all their videos.
Some things that I don't understand is the speed in relation to multiple floors becaue if a slab floor is poured and then would it not have to cure and dry before lifting it up to make the second floor?

you can just tell how this man does this out of love and not out of profit, this was amazing to listen to and heartwarming because I often think about the workers that have to suffer because of how hard the work is and how the environment is affected. I'm so happy that I found your podcast
..it is better than no job at all. You can't live a normal life on government hand outs. This robot disappears jobs. Now imagine when every sector goes with robotic replacements. Not everyone can be a computer programmer or doctor.

@@Blake4625kHz I do not know what kind of world you live in but the "this thing dissappears jobs" is something out of a conspiracy book. ofc not everyone can be a programmer and that it takes over the hard part of the job just as an excavator does or other heavy machinery... are you telling me you'd rather mix your own cement for your house and dig your own foundation? with your hands and a shovel? cause if you do, kudos to you but 99% of the people don't. also as he said, the pool of people that are willing to do these consuming jobs is contracting and there are less and less people available, which is true. this transition will happen faster in places where you can't find workers than in places where workers are available, first of all, and second, it is not meant to take over the craftsmanship part in building a house, just the very heavy duty stuff. I understand a lot of people go into construction because there isn't an alternative, however there are less and less people that take this path and the construction companies have difficulty starting work because there's not enough workers.
@@Blake4625kHz I 100% see your point. Also, we can't build infinity houses. And we can't have infinity people on the planet. We're way overpopulated already imo. That's why I'm for birth control (voluntary, of course) and also a reasonable minimum wage, so those with non-technical jobs have at least a chance at a good life.
@@bryanstrom812 turn the deserts green and ‘overpopulation’ is laughable. Subtract human tendency to flourish in greed and then we learn to subdue the earth more correctly by original intended design. Room for all abundantly
