Wow! Simply wow. Love the butterfly. I had no idea all those cogs would look so cool just glued together! I always thought i would have to arrange them to look like they made sense. Now I see artistic license lets you put stacks and stacks and it looks fabulous! Thanks!
OMG - I realize this is 2022 now from your vid in 2014 - but I just found you ! What do I tell you I love the best?! The flaps, the flips, the folding tags? The cog wheels, which is so awesome to know that Aleene's tacky glue will hold metal! The precious little removable clock? The portal window? The ... the .... the ... and absolutely the butterfly!!! Oh and of course, I love the colour of your nail polish! Wow this was so professionally demonstrated - thank you!
Many wonderful ideas to use in any junk journal. I so enjoyed watching your creative process making this steampunk album. Who knew t-rolls could be recycled in this way?
Your butterfly was amazing. I had to laugh when you said that you "ruined" the paper cutting them out. Knowing you you will find a use for the rest of that paper. Love the little window in the one pocket. The arrows tag was fabulous. Love the little pocket watch. Loved the corset page.
you are truely amazingly artistic. i have never liked steampunk, TILL NOW . WOW i love it. im definately going to start collecting all the watches i have and dont use or dont love and take them apart. LOve it!!! Thanks so much for sharing. And Thanks to your Granddad for passing on all those tips for book binding . Respect x
This Faux Leather Steampunk Album is the most fabulous mini book I've ever seen. Gosh a LOT of inspiration. AMAZING techniques you shared. So very inspiring !! Thank you so much for sharing this. You are so skilled and I'm happy I found this video tutorial.. Sending hugs from Monica... Spain
Hi Einat, I have only recently stumbled across your channel and am so lucky i did. You are amazing and so talented. I am mesmerised by your videos, so clear and you are willing to share all your knowledge which i am very grateful for. i am retired and really can't afford to spend a lot of money on my crafts so anything i can make myself i will do. You have given me so much inspiration and the instructions for making my own crafts enabling me to do so much more. Thank you again Love, Love, Love your work. Evelyn
I have never been too crazy about steampunk...but this is fabulous. What awesome ideas you came up with. And to think it all started as what most of us just toss in the garbage when the roll ends. Truly amazing work!
OMG! This is without a doubt the most spectacular steampunk journal ever. Most of the steampunk jj's I've seen, have too many pages that don't fit in with the theme, just blah pages, graphic paper, doilies etc. Genius!
Win at, I've just found this video. What an absolutely - Fabbylous Stupendous Wonderous Work again. You are a genius. Thank you for sharing all your wonderful talent. 💖🇬🇧
New subscriber today - I love that you don't just use endless pre-fab chipboard in your work like so many people do. Using found objects & stuff from the hardware store is a great idea to make your art original... & the hardware store is just about my favourite place on earth; so many possibilities for art supplies at a fraction of the cost & so many shiny things! lol
I am very impressed with all the clever things you made for this mini album. I never would have guessed that something as neat as this started out with such humble beginnings...the toilet paper rolls. Amazing work.
Absolutely gorgeous. My son wants a steampunk momento box. This has prompted me to plan to include a mini album inspired by your beautiful book with your wonderfully original ideas. Thank you. I am a talented crafter but really suck on originality. Look forward to looking at your other projects. Rosie
Wow! I'm blown away with all beautiful art work you've done. I had to watch all the videos. I just love the steampunk embellishments. I have to go out & start collecting some. They're expensive to buy, but you gave me some ideas as to how I can get some for next to nothing. Thank you ever so much. I love, love, love what you're doing. I can see all those projects around my house.
Just beautiful!! It's been a pleasure to watch these two tutorials. Thank you for the wonderful way you explain and for sharing. Hugs from Cathy in Chicago
HOLY COW MAN!!! DROP DEAD GORGEOUS! Well I must say it was a real honor to watch a genius at work. TY for so kindly sharing with me. I enjoyed every second. You be well. Bye now
OBSESSED with that butterfly embellishment! It inspired me to make a tag the same way with layered gears filling the inside and I just LOVE it! Definitely worth the effort! Thank you for the inspiration. Your entire project is just so so beautiful!
Einat.....Whew!!! I finally finished watching Part 2 today. I couldn't wait. I am totally loving this Mini-Album of yours. I realized that I do not have cogs, clocks pieces, etc. even though I love steam punk, I do not have these items. I'm not sure you know, but I am new to all this. I started two years ago making Hand-Made Greeting Cards, graduating to making Art Journals (which I love, love, love), and now to making Mini Albums...meaning Steam Punk Albums. This is so addicting and wonderful. Now I just have to have patience and start collecting these cogs, clock pieces, and more, to make my Mini Album. It will take me a while before I can accumulate this stuff to make something remotely as pretty as yours, but.....as they say, "Good things come to those that wait". So I shall have to be PATIENT!!! Again....thank you so very much for this Tutorial. It has really inspired me to create the faux-leather paper to make a Masculine Card for a friend. Thank you again and have a great day.
Love this creation, you have really inspired me which is something that hasn’t happened for a while. I have my toilet roll tubes ready and today I went to a scrap yard and collected lots of bits and pieces. I’m excited to try some of these methods! Thank you for sharing 😊👍
Einat, this is a most amazing mini album (both parts). The faux leather & the butterfly are beautiful; the entire album is. I really am enjoying your channel and your willingness to share your artistic knowledge is appreciated. You make me smile.
This is fabulous! Thank you so much for sharing your amazing talent with us! I really appreciate this tutorial...love the time, detail and all of the many techniques! Thanks so much!
I LOVE Steam Punk and this is one of the best I have seen. I am just beginning to take a lot of junk watches apart for the pieces. I am not sure my rolls are as wide as yours in diameter but making pockets out of them is a terrific and I am going to have to try that faux leather idea. Magnifique!
Love this steampunk mini... it was just incredible!!....the creativity is so advance and wonderful...I have been looking for ideas for a masculine mini and think I will try your some of your techniques on a larger frame ....thanks so much for sharing!!
@Einat Kessler Your work is so inspiring. I watch your videos on my laptop during the day and even at bedtime. They are so inspiring, that I have gotten out of bed to race to my work area for the purpose of creating something. I have found myself staying up all night watching and rewatching your videos, and have also made my way to the work table at 2, 3, or 4 in the morning! Thank you so very much for sharing and giving me so much inspiration to create my own artwork.
Beautiful and intricate steam art! You do it so quickly! If i tried to do this alone it would take me a week of planning and playing with the parts! You are very much an artist!
