Art and History is very special and influential.
The Mona Lisa or La Joconde belongs to France because the painting was bought by French King Francis 1st, great admiration of Italian art in the Renaissance period. King Francis 1st welcomed master Leonardo da Vinci who was his friend, in the Loire Valley in France in 1516, Leonard do Vinci lived his final last 3 years of life in the Loire Valley at the Clos-Lucé castle and was buried in the Chateau of Amboise chapel afterward. Leonardo da Vinci was renowned in Italy but was admired in France too, and France was his second home in his final years of life.
