2018,19 was actually a big disappointment in Hollywood, (IW,DP2,) were only good movie that I was hyped for rest all sucks hard. Really hard. (In 2019 endgame(because I am hulk and Thor fan and use my brain). But this movie doesn't disappoint at all.

I honestly feel bad for any dragon ball “fan” that watched this movie online instead of experiencing it for yourself the reaction in theater is a priceless moment I’ll never forget.
I'm happy I got to watch in great quality but audience laughs at every scene like it's comedy gold it's cancer. I couldn't hear like 3% of the movie because of frequent laughs and cheers. It's a great experience to watch it opening day and be part of history regardless though
There was one group a few rows behind me that was going "OOH" and laughing at some parts, like the Frieza wish and the scenes where Broly wails on Frieza. It made the whole thing enjoyable to me, being there with people who were as hyped up as I was.
Toriyama always writes, the difference is how much he feels like writing. For the TOP, it was a few dot points and it shows. For this, it was originally around a 3 hour film that they cut to 100 minutes. Which to me felt better but it seemed obvious large parts were cut.

For ex. Toriyama wrote the last episode of super and it was an extremely satisfying ending unlike most of the other arc endings where he writes points he wrote the whole last episode

Just saw it tonight. I love the new animation style. It was really good and can’t wait to buy it on Blu ray. I might need to see it a second time in theaters.
I had a big issue with the jarring switches to different animation engines in the movie. Each style looked good in it's own right, but suddenly shifting from 2D animation to cell shaded 3D models was distractingly noticeable.

@@Melkac Because Whis is supposed to be one of the strongest beings in the multiverse. Whis disabled lord beerus by flicking that dude on the neck. He also disabled Goku and Vegeta like nothing. No one knows how strong he really is and it was hinted before the movie that he was going to see some fight action. People were probably just anticipating a badass fight scene with Broly and Whis.
Honestly, this is probably the most accessible Dragon Ball movie for non-fans. It focuses on just a few characters and treats the villain as the protagonist so that viewers can invest themselves on Broly being introduced into the franchise.
I saw my brother watching it as he grew up so I kinda understand the plot in general. I know the characters and stuff. My son, who is now 12 "forced" me to watch it with him and thanks to my brother I was simply fascinated about it. Oh, those fights! I'm super glad for having watching it.
This movie is not that hard to understand for non DB fans. Even the viewers who haven't watch DB or don't know anything about DB can simply understand this movie. At the start of the movie all the lead characters are introduced which was Goku, Vegita, Broly and Freeza and as he destroyed planet Vegita, people will simply understand that Freeza is the villain and Goku and Vegeta are the heros of this film. Also fans will not need to understand any previous info about Broly as this movie tells all about him. The part where non DB fans will face problem is with Transformations and Fusion. But still the plot is very easy for non DB fans to understand. So this movie is not as complicated as Revival of F since viewers will need to know the Namek saga and Battle of Gods.
Just saw it too, this is one of my all time favorite Dragonball movies, if not my top favorite. Man, they made Broly a complete character, I was not expecting that. They also didn't forget about how much of a maniac he was in those old films. When he loses it, he loses it in a big way like we loved.
Love the end, very interested to see where things go now. If you would have told me i would feel that way about broly 10 years I woulda said not in this universe.

This movie surpassed all of my expectations. I love DBZ and Super, but the movies by-and-large are not that entertaining (Abridged does a great job with them though). This movie, though, was so damn good! You DO give a shit about Broly when you watch it, and the fact that they left him alive for more battles and whatnot was such a good decision.
My only gripe about the animation was that the CGI was a little jarring and the 2D animation dropped in quality for 30 seconds when Goku and Vegeta were talking about fusing. However I do agree it was solid animation.
This movie is by far the best movie in the entire series, it is more interested in me than z, since Super has come out, I thought the series is only going downhill, and now I hope that if they continue the series, they will do it just like in this movie, They finally give too respect to vegeta, the film is so different that the series was, I felt there was more depth this time
It jump started the series again but overall it really didn't do anything for DB Super since it was rewritten for the show. Although they might do the same with this movie when the new season starts, though I hope not. Making this movie episodic will just ruin the magic since it won't have a movie budget anymore and will look worse because of it and drag on longer then it needs to be.

@@captainkondoriano7869 I always found this argument stupid. Why wouldn't you want a series to go on forever? It's not like the show suddenly loses its first few seasons. I would much prefer a release outside of the original story for the rest of my life, if its my favorite show, than just have a few seasons of a really good show. If they ruin it at season 10, at least you still have a couple of good seasons of your favorite show -- while the original seasons are STILL as good, nothing is changing that.
I binged-watched the whole DBS Series in two weeks just to get caught up and understand why Frieza was (Once Again) Resurrected. Man what a movie and the series was just awesome!
I realized my eyes were watery after NOT BLINKING for so long during the Fights. I didn't want to blink because the animation was so badass and fast-paced that I was stunned. The SOUNDS were awesome too. I agree... this is the 1st Dragon Ball movie I saw that feels like an actual story and feels important. One of the best movies I've seen at the theaters atleast since Spider-Man: into the Spiderverse.
Adnan Asif Bruh, nobody thinks this was made by the same studio as Evolution. It's a purely hypothetical apology, just like Spider-Verse isn't literally an apology for anything. They're both their own films. And you do realize that it is rumored that the original creator, Akira Toriyama, got as involved in the creation of Battle of Gods as he did partially because he did not like a lot of the early creative decisions and wanted to avoid another DB Evolution.
Bro it was amazing, The fun parts, The fighting! There was apart in the fight when they made it look like you where Broly and I lost my mind, when Goku told Broly to call him Kakarot. Goku never liked that name but yo 🙌🏻😂🙌🏻😂🙌🏻
To be honest, I believe Goku shared that name because Broly, like him, is a Saiyan. Goku might have been brought up on Earth, but he still has that Saiyan instinct to fight someone stronger and get even better. When he said that he would like to teach Broly a thing or two, it was a reference to how Saiyans, in their time I believe, used to train. He wanted to let Broly know that he still has a Saiyan to trust.
Chris I'm genuinely happy for you. You've seemed down as of late so I'm glad one of your anticipated movies delivered. I'm so excited, Brolly is finally cannon! He was wasted for so many years.
When I was watching this movie, there were a bunch of kids, all probably under 10, in the cinema sitting behind me. Some of them kept talking and eating loudly, which annoyed me greatly, but I did my best to ignore them. Eventually, they were chasing each other around the theatre, giggling and yelling like the place was a playground - the theatre was very empty. The children and their parents were gone before the big fight with Broly (thank goodness).
3 things...1.I just love the fact that they made canon one of the best non-canon character desing in all of Dragonball. The new design and backstory for Broly is perfect, a way better way to introduce him to the canon than in the other movie of Broly...he hated Goku's crying ? Was dumb, great for TFS parody...2. Love where they could go with this character after this movie, it give a great post tournament arc to Super, i want more from them !! . 3.They found a way to make Gogeta cooler somehow than in the Janemba movie...i love it ! Also i want more of planet Vegeta backstory !! That was great !! Should they save or make canon another movie vilain ? What do you think ? Bringing back Tapion and Hildegard maybe ?
Toriyama did such an amazing job. I expected great fights but I never expected such a decent story. I really felt watching Bardock and Gine saying goodbye to Goku. And I understood and empathised with Broly.

I remember driving 30 mins to watch this movie and it was amazing the amount of fans that came out just for the film. And the fight scene got us all hype.
WARNING: MINOR SPOILER AHEAD! Best fucking part of the movie was that the reason why Broly came into the picture in the first place was because of Vegeta and his father. This is an example of one of the rare moments when Vegeta is the central character of the movie and not Goku and that makes this movie even better because it fleshes out Vegeta's character so much more. He is an all round badass in this movie and I never felt that he was left on the sidelines while Goku was in the spotlight all the while, nope, this movie featured both of them equally and actually gave a reason for Broly to exist. It's amazing!! This movie is like that perfect piece of the puzzle which comes in the end and just fits in perfectly at the right spot! So satisfying!
My biggest complaint would have to be how nonchalant it was for Freeza to kill of Brolys father. That could've been a fantastic moment to capitalize on Brolys raged induced strength, but it ended up being really lame. "Broly your dads dead oops" it just felt so poorly done. There was allot of emotion that could've been tied to that scene making this movie a bit better. Thats just my two zenny though.
I’m a long time DB fan (since the 90’s) and I LOVED this movie!! The writing and animation was amazing and I found myself wishing there was another 30min added to the movie to extend certain parts. The fight scenes was so well choreographed too. Literally loved it all (the cgi didn’t even bug me).
Actually, it's because this film is so inconsequential that they can focus on fewer character personalities and visual fighting styles. Every other film tried to act like it was the end of the world.
Andorchadas it wasn’t until Super retold it, changed it up a bit and wrote it out of canon. Same thing with Resurrection F. They both were canon until they weren’t anymore. I wouldn’t be surprised if Super comes back and retells this movie as well.

I’m going to be honest, the original Broly movies were some of my least favorite movies in the whole series. Broly never struck me as a great villain with him having PTSD thanks to baby Goku’s crying, and even though they always portrayed him as being super powerful, I always felt like his power was overrated. He just seemed to me like an ascended Super Sayian Trunks who had no slow down from the bulky muscles. Imo, Super Sayian 2 would have still overwhelmed him (and if teen Gohan had been training throughout those 7 years after the Cell games, there’s no doubt in my mind he would have won in the second movie without Goku or Goten’s help). However, with that being said, this movie was great. Broly was actually a likable character, and I couldn’t help but feel sympathetic towards him. I also like how even Frieza sees him as being a potential ally and how he would love to use him for his own purposes. It sets it up really nicely. And the battles were amazing. They were super fast, you could see the power flowing out of the characters, and the animation was fantastic. A great movie for Dragonball fans.
Shintani needs to be the new character designer. This movie proves how great he was at getting a great mixture of Toriyama’s original manga art, the original anime(DB/DBZ), and all of it is capped off with a modern twist to it to make it his own thing. His designs really help the animation of the film look great and fluid!!!

@@Hobie02425 Quirky but not an outright dumbass, coming from the manga, he was as serious as the anime no matter the version. He wasn't too serious in the English at all. Kai in english furthers my point. Same scenes, cut filler, same panels and reactions and actions.
This is awesome I know people were scared about the anime for this movie when they discussed they were going to put a pause on the next Saga for the movie and hearing your review is very refreshing and exciting
Saw it today and it was incredible. I cared for Broly, I enjoyed the first time he appeared in the non-canon movies but he was great and we saw a reasoning for Broly going out of control. Great experience
No Gohan. This is an A movie. It would have been A+ if there was him Seriously, Gohan has been in all of the Broly movie except this one...... I remember he was the key to defeat broly or just buying time for Goku to power up. Now Frieza took that role.....
KK Gohan would’ve been quite useless tho, sure he was in the other movies because he was relevant to the plot, in this one he wasn’t. I’m thankful Hogan stayed out of it (same for trunks and goten) , they would’ve gotten in holy and vegeta’s way. This was about full blood saiyans, not the off springs
@@ravinkengfack1997 the crossbreed is said to be stronger the pure saiyan though. Gohan just never train to be stronger and he's not really into fighting. Like I said, at least he can be a punching bag like he was in the other Broly movies. It would be nice to have him there. They even had a sub plot that he intended to grow in a different way than others that not rely on Super Saiyan. Let's hope tey don't abandon it. I am not a Gohan fan by the way. I am Goku fan

While I still prefer Broly's old character design(not a fan of his new LSSJ hair style, reminds me too much of Goku), I am happy he is now canon(even though I am not a big fan of Super at all and mostly saw it as a cash grab). Now I am just hoping he meets Launch and she goes all Tsundere for him.
DrewFitCoaching Launch is the only girl from the OG Dragonball that didn't get herself a Saiyan and after being ignored for so long she deserves at least that much. Plus I like the idea of Broly having to deal with his bipolar waifu.
@TYT Member #404 not really as Chi Chi and Bulma serve no real purpose other than birthing half breeds. Same for Master Roshi, Yamcha, etc... it had nothing to do with her not having a purpose. In fact the explanation I have heard is that Akira Toriyama was afraid she would be mistaken for a Saiyan with the whole hair color change she does. Besides, she was shown at the end of Z and in a DBZ special with the group. Clearly no longer caring about Tien. Bringing her back hurts nothing and giving her a more interesting love interest also hurts nothing.
I hadn’t watched the newer dragon ball movies or show but I was a dragon ball fan as a kid and afew of my teens and I got emotional watching dragon ball broly and so much nostalgia watching it. So happy I was familiar with all the characters besides the two Gods that were shown with Vegeta & Goku, whis I believe is his name. GADDDAM it was an amazing experience
I like the fantasy of broly becoming buddies with goku and fighting with them. Making him a rational and human person was a great idea. I personaly liked all three broly movies, his character felt mysterious to me and that along with his unmatched power made me like him. The movie was 100% fleshed out, a lot of planning was made and it showed.
i'm going to said it out loud. i am not a dragon ball fan, truth be told until recently i thought the tv show ended in the 90s but a friend took me to watch this movie and i became a fan. yes i didn't knew that much and got lost with the tournament of power placement but truth be told the first 40 minuts of the movie made me so engaged that i was so exited to see what happens next with Broly
I haven't watched dragonball z since it was on toonami 10 somthing years ago, decided since then to watch other anime instead. Can any dbz fans tell me what is worth watching to catch up ? or if i was to watch this film would I understand what's going on ?
Anthony I'll try to give you a quick route, watch Dragon Ball Kai which is the fillerless version of DBZ, watch Battle of Gods, watch Resurrection of Frieza, and then watch episode 28 onwards of Dragon Ball Super except the fillers
Anthony It’s worth catching up, Dragon Ball GT in my opinion is not worth it (since it’s not canon), Dragon Ball Super is somewhat worth it since it plays a certain role in this film, so I’d recommend watching that series.
I remember when the leaked images of this came out , a lot of people shitted on the art design. And here we are praising the animation for how it one ups Super’s.
When a movie has a 40 minute fight scene. And it keeps you gripped fully. You know its good

I had a big issue with the jarring switches to different animation engines in the movie. Each style looked good in it's own right, but suddenly shifting from 2D animation to cell shaded 3D models was distractingly noticeable.

No one knows how strong he really is and it was hinted before the movie that he was going to see some fight action. People were probably just anticipating a badass fight scene with Broly and Whis.
We did when he started beating Frieza’s ass. Loved that.
This was hands down the best Dragon Ball movie ever made. A great story and absolutely no filler to go along with incredible fight scenes. Wow!
Honestly, this is probably the most accessible Dragon Ball movie for non-fans. It focuses on just a few characters and treats the villain as the protagonist so that viewers can invest themselves on Broly being introduced into the franchise.

I saw my brother watching it as he grew up so I kinda understand the plot in general. I know the characters and stuff. My son, who is now 12 "forced" me to watch it with him and thanks to my brother I was simply fascinated about it. Oh, those fights! I'm super glad for having watching it.
If you get the chance ... watch the abridged version if dbz from TFS ... its a nice spin in the characters
This movie is not that hard to understand for non DB fans. Even the viewers who haven't watch DB or don't know anything about DB can simply understand this movie. At the start of the movie all the lead characters are introduced which was Goku, Vegita, Broly and Freeza and as he destroyed planet Vegita, people will simply understand that Freeza is the villain and Goku and Vegeta are the heros of this film. Also fans will not need to understand any previous info about Broly as this movie tells all about him. The part where non DB fans will face problem is with Transformations and Fusion. But still the plot is very easy for non DB fans to understand. So this movie is not as complicated as Revival of F since viewers will need to know the Namek saga and Battle of Gods.

Just saw it too, this is one of my all time favorite Dragonball movies, if not my top favorite. Man, they made Broly a complete character, I was not expecting that. They also didn't forget about how much of a maniac he was in those old films. When he loses it, he loses it in a big way like we loved.
Love the end, very interested to see where things go now. If you would have told me i would feel that way about broly 10 years I woulda said not in this universe.

This movie surpassed all of my expectations. I love DBZ and Super, but the movies by-and-large are not that entertaining (Abridged does a great job with them though). This movie, though, was so damn good! You DO give a shit about Broly when you watch it, and the fact that they left him alive for more battles and whatnot was such a good decision.

My only gripe about the animation was that the CGI was a little jarring and the 2D animation dropped in quality for 30 seconds when Goku and Vegeta were talking about fusing. However I do agree it was solid animation.

I would much prefer a release outside of the original story for the rest of my life, if its my favorite show, than just have a few seasons of a really good show. If they ruin it at season 10, at least you still have a couple of good seasons of your favorite show -- while the original seasons are STILL as good, nothing is changing that.

I binged-watched the whole DBS Series in two weeks just to get caught up and understand why Frieza was (Once Again) Resurrected. Man what a movie and the series was just awesome!
I realized my eyes were watery after NOT BLINKING for so long during the Fights. I didn't want to blink because the animation was so badass and fast-paced that I was stunned. The SOUNDS were awesome too. I agree... this is the 1st Dragon Ball movie I saw that feels like an actual story and feels important. One of the best movies I've seen at the theaters atleast since Spider-Man: into the Spiderverse.

To be honest, I believe Goku shared that name because Broly, like him, is a Saiyan. Goku might have been brought up on Earth, but he still has that Saiyan instinct to fight someone stronger and get even better. When he said that he would like to teach Broly a thing or two, it was a reference to how Saiyans, in their time I believe, used to train. He wanted to let Broly know that he still has a Saiyan to trust.

When I was watching this movie, there were a bunch of kids, all probably under 10, in the cinema sitting behind me. Some of them kept talking and eating loudly, which annoyed me greatly, but I did my best to ignore them. Eventually, they were chasing each other around the theatre, giggling and yelling like the place was a playground - the theatre was very empty. The children and their parents were gone before the big fight with Broly (thank goodness).
Fighting in this movie was 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 AF!!!!!!!! It was F@&King beautiful!!!!
3 things...1.I just love the fact that they made canon one of the best non-canon character desing in all of Dragonball. The new design and backstory for Broly is perfect, a way better way to introduce him to the canon than in the other movie of Broly...he hated Goku's crying ? Was dumb, great for TFS parody...2. Love where they could go with this character after this movie, it give a great post tournament arc to Super, i want more from them !! . 3.They found a way to make Gogeta cooler somehow than in the Janemba movie...i love it ! Toriyama did such an amazing job. I expected great fights but I never expected such a decent story. I really felt watching Bardock and Gine saying goodbye to Goku. And I understood and empathised with Broly.
Toriyama can write excellent stories. He did write all of Dragon Ball from Pilaf up to the Buu saga after all.
Probably the most consistent and complete dragon Ball movie made yet but coolers revenge will always hold a place in my heart lol

This is the first anime I've watched in cinema cause I'm a long time fan of Broly. After watching it, I was so happy about it.
I remember driving 30 mins to watch this movie and it was amazing the amount of fans that came out just for the film. And the fight scene got us all hype.

Best fucking part of the movie was that the reason why Broly came into the picture in the first place was because of Vegeta and his father. This is an example of one of the rare moments when Vegeta is the central character of the movie and not Goku and that makes this movie even better because it fleshes out Vegeta's character so much more. He is an all round badass in this movie and I never felt that he was left on the sidelines while Goku was in the spotlight all the while, nope, this movie featured both of them equally and actually gave a reason for Broly to exist. It's amazing!! This movie is like that perfect piece of the puzzle which comes in the end and just fits in perfectly at the right spot! So satisfying!
My biggest complaint would have to be how nonchalant it was for Freeza to kill of Brolys father. That could've been a fantastic moment to capitalize on Brolys raged induced strength, but it ended up being really lame. "Broly your dads dead oops" it just felt so poorly done. There was allot of emotion that could've been tied to that scene making this movie a bit better. Thats just my two zenny though.

I’m a long time DB fan (since the 90’s) and I LOVED this movie!! The writing and animation was amazing and I found myself wishing there was another 30min added to the movie to extend certain parts.
The fight scenes was so well choreographed too. Literally loved it all (the cgi didn’t even bug me).

Actually, it's because this film is so inconsequential that they can focus on fewer character personalities and visual fighting styles. Every other film tried to act like it was the end of the world.

Andorchadas it wasn’t until Super retold it, changed it up a bit and wrote it out of canon. Same thing with Resurrection F. They both were canon until they weren’t anymore. I wouldn’t be surprised if Super comes back and retells this movie as well.

I’m going to be honest, the original Broly movies were some of my least favorite movies in the whole series. Broly never struck me as a great villain with him having PTSD thanks to baby Goku’s crying, and even though they always portrayed him as being super powerful, I always felt like his power was overrated. He just seemed to me like an ascended Super Sayian Trunks who had no slow down from the bulky muscles. Imo, Super Sayian 2 would have still overwhelmed him (and if teen Gohan had been training throughout those 7 years after the Cell games, there’s no doubt in my mind he would have won in the second movie without Goku or Goten’s help).
However, with that being said, this movie was great. Broly was actually a likable character, and I couldn’t help but feel sympathetic towards him. I also like how even Frieza sees him as being a potential ally and how he would love to use him for his own purposes. It sets it up really nicely. And the battles were amazing. They were super fast, you could see the power flowing out of the characters, and the animation was fantastic.
A great movie for Dragonball fans.

Shintani needs to be the new character designer. This movie proves how great he was at getting a great mixture of Toriyama’s original manga art, the original anime(DB/DBZ), and all of it is capped off with a modern twist to it to make it his own thing. His designs really help the animation of the film look great and fluid!!!
If the animation is better than Super, and Goku isn't a complete idiot like he is in Super, I'm in! And it sounds like those conditions have been met.

Seriously, Gohan has been in all of the Broly movie except this one...... I remember he was the key to defeat broly or just buying time for Goku to power up. Now Frieza took that role.....
KK Gohan would’ve been quite useless tho, sure he was in the other movies because he was relevant to the plot, in this one he wasn’t. I’m thankful Hogan stayed out of it (same for trunks and goten) , they would’ve gotten in holy and vegeta’s way. This was about full blood saiyans, not the off springs
@@ravinkengfack1997 the crossbreed is said to be stronger the pure saiyan though. Gohan just never train to be stronger and he's not really into fighting. Like I said, at least he can be a punching bag like he was in the other Broly movies. It would be nice to have him there. They even had a sub plot that he intended to grow in a different way than others that not rely on Super Saiyan. Let's hope tey don't abandon it. I am not a Gohan fan by the way. I am Goku fan

Yes, I have to agree with no shock ending no bad twist just a good movie. Why is this so hard for movie makers to understand? Good review I cannot wait to see this movie.

While I still prefer Broly's old character design(not a fan of his new LSSJ hair style, reminds me too much of Goku), I am happy he is now canon(even though I am not a big fan of Super at all and mostly saw it as a cash grab). Now I am just hoping he meets Launch and she goes all Tsundere for him.

DrewFitCoaching Launch is the only girl from the OG Dragonball that didn't get herself a Saiyan and after being ignored for so long she deserves at least that much. Plus I like the idea of Broly having to deal with his bipolar waifu.
@TYT Member #404 not really as Chi Chi and Bulma serve no real purpose other than birthing half breeds. Same for Master Roshi, Yamcha, etc... it had nothing to do with her not having a purpose. In fact the explanation I have heard is that Akira Toriyama was afraid she would be mistaken for a Saiyan with the whole hair color change she does. Besides, she was shown at the end of Z and in a DBZ special with the group. Clearly no longer caring about Tien. Bringing her back hurts nothing and giving her a more interesting love interest also hurts nothing.

I hadn’t watched the newer dragon ball movies or show but I was a dragon ball fan as a kid and afew of my teens and I got emotional watching dragon ball broly and so much nostalgia watching it. So happy I was familiar with all the characters besides the two Gods that were shown with Vegeta & Goku, whis I believe is his name. GADDDAM it was an amazing experience

I like the fantasy of broly becoming buddies with goku and fighting with them. Making him a rational and human person was a great idea.
I personaly liked all three broly movies, his character felt mysterious to me and that along with his unmatched power made me like him.
The movie was 100% fleshed out, a lot of planning was made and it showed.
i'm going to said it out loud. i am not a dragon ball fan, truth be told until recently i thought the tv show ended in the 90s but a friend took me to watch this movie and i became a fan. yes i didn't knew that much and got lost with the tournament of power placement but truth be told the first 40 minuts of the movie made me so engaged that i was so exited to see what happens next with Broly
I haven't watched dragonball z since it was on toonami 10 somthing years ago, decided since then to watch other anime instead. Can any dbz fans tell me what is worth watching to catch up ? or if i was to watch this film would I understand what's going on ?
Anthony just watch battle of gods then resurrection f and like the last 30 episodes of super and you’ll know everything

Anthony I'll try to give you a quick route, watch Dragon Ball Kai which is the fillerless version of DBZ, watch Battle of Gods, watch Resurrection of Frieza, and then watch episode 28 onwards of Dragon Ball Super except the fillers
Anthony It’s worth catching up, Dragon Ball GT in my opinion is not worth it (since it’s not canon), Dragon Ball Super is somewhat worth it since it plays a certain role in this film, so I’d recommend watching that series.
I remember when the leaked images of this came out , a lot of people shitted on the art design. And here we are praising the animation for how it one ups Super’s.
