On a flip side, based on my better judgment and from my observations, if landlords or land owners are building structures outside their premises by occupying the public access of the Land and renting it out to vendors or traders, shouldn't they be the one to NOW take the heat and compensate the shop owners for their LOST of renting an illegal structures erected by the land owners? The landlords should have known better NOT to do that to innocent people who may or may not be aware that they were breaking the rules and the law of customary service of land..I think the Landlords should be held primarily accountable and pay them hefty compensation for impunity damages by collecting dues over a long period of time and also should be fine just to set an example for future Landlords to bear in mind what the consequences are for building and renting to people who might fall as a victim of circumstantial misappropriation of shop ownership.. Just a thought..

For your info i was speaking about friends and associates that i know of there that have been scammed and had there houses broken into. So that is more than one Gambian. How can they demolish when people are inside the place, can you give them few more minutes to clear their things and step out. This is getting out of hand. Anyone that get hurt in the process of this demolition SUED the team.
Granted the could give them a few minutes to clear, however, they were given months of advanced notice and didn’t take it seriously.

Where you there, when they gave them the two months notice, if so just to give them a few more minutes, what difference will that make to the demolition team. The Government Officials, Military and Law Enforcement should be using computers or pones tablets to document the people who are not compliant names driver’s licenses and license plate numbers which would be much more effective and logical in order to upload a more professional document and Excel spreadsheet to a computer database instead of using slips of paper and not even using notebooks. They are working decades behind modern technology.
