You forgetting that Halo CE,s covenant have two different armor variance, with grunts having a curled tank set, jackals second set with a helmet and Elite minor and major second set with a curled head spike.
Very cool to see all the units and vehicles for Halo 1. Even the modded units were cool.
But the Duel Rocket Flood ahd Flood Cyborg are terrifying beyond compare.
This won't be Altehros video without any insane firefight in the end.
I just love how *wiggly* the Flood Carrier is.
The ending is a lovely touch. Nice to see YapYap back at it.

Engineers were in this game?? Thats insane to think about considering they waited 8 years to finally put them into the main story of Halo, and even then, you never see them again after that. Wonder why.
A mod named "Combat Revolved" restored their AI into the campaign. I highly recommend checking it out since it is like a remake or reimagining of CE's campaign.

Hey Altehros, is there a place I can download the custom units you've made? I've recently started trying to learn how to mod Halo: CE and playing around with some of your custom stuff seems like fun. Plus, I might have use for some of your stuff for a campaign idea I want to work on.

I recommend redoing this on MCC. The Gearbox and Custom Edition Ports sucked ass graphically and used the wrong textures.

I have been messing around with the CE mod tools lately and so far I have figured out how to place objects and add AI to maps in Sapien. I haven't messed around with Gurilla that much and haven't figured out how to get my map changes to work in the tag test (does anyone know how to do this, do you need to compile the map first?)
You type in the console in tag test by pressing "~" then scenario location for example "map_name levels\test\bloodgulch\bloodgulch" without quotations
@@Altehros thanks man. Also do you ever deal with issues where Sapien or Tag Test just refuse to open (it will load for 2 seconds before quiting, even when I have selected the correct scenario file.) So far the only way I know how to fix this is tool uninstall/reinstall the tools, is there another way to fix this besides unistalling?
@@justsomehalofan4386 I've never encountered that before but if it loads for a second then it's probably a memory or sound issue. All I know is the sound, go make a text file ce mod tools directory and name it "editor_init" and inside that text file you type this in "sound_enable 0" and "debug_objects 0"
@@Altehros I would be very interested in a series of tutorials from you on how to uses the CE tools, like how to import custom character models, weapons, vehicles, sounds, etc. Along with getting custom maps to work in MCC. There aren't that many tutorials on how to do certain things with the tools.

I think hes going off the og halo. Where the spartans were originally going tonbr cyborgs. Either that ornthatw how they are in the files.

Bungie and the original Halo lore occasionally referred to Spartans as cyborgs. The term has fallen off as the series matured.
Did call a spartan cyborg?!?!
In og halo ce spartans there sometimes mentioned as cyborgs, for example when u want to choose the armor colour for your multi-player "cyborg". Maybe this is also their name in the game files
@@war4thog741 another example is the quote for the missions keyes which reads, "Stage a one cyborg assault on a covenant ship and bring back the captain." Bungie did originally plan for Spartans to be actual robotic cyborgs before setting on them being human super soliders. Though I still think it is cool how that this reference to them as cyborgs is still used throughout the franchise.
